So when you were younger, did your heart throb for someone on TV? Or maybe more than one person? My crush was George Clooney when he was on ER, he's always been a good looking man in my opinion plus a doctor, who could resist? What about you guys? Thanks for commenting.

Of course. I loved sci-fi and there was a US tele-serial - the Little Wonder - which had her as vicky the robot. The girl - Tiffany Brissette was my crush - I still want to see those episodes. I am from India and it was during 1980s that they had first telecast these episodes. I loved her as she was so bubbly... Today, she has left the world of Acting and works as a Nurse somewhere in US. (I read about this on some discussion here at MyLot about a year and a half back). I searched more info and found that she still looks so very chic Wish we had a connection somewhere

Well it sounds like the only way of connecting would be if you some how find out what hospital she works at and demand medical attention, once you tell her how far you traveled to see her she might be frightened though.

#Jshean: Yes, and I have been ill since the past so many years now... but the only problem between meets is the distance and the costs. I am from India and she is in US - opposite ends of world

Well, I'm going back quite a way here. In the early '60's there was an actor - Edd Byrnes - I absolutely loved. He played a character on the show "77 Sunset Strip". His name in the show was "Kookie" (yes, as in crazy). I can't believe I liked his name and thought he was sooo cool. I also was crazy about Dic Clark. I never missed watching American Bandstand! I didn't misspell D. Clark's name. The system informed I couldn't use that word - D*ick. Sheesh.

I can't remember personally, but my mom told me that when I was young (and by young I mean toddler age) I would always curl up in front of the tv when the weatherman was one. I seemed to have a thing for the guy! Sounds pretty funny, unfortunatly I can't remember it so that's about the only info I can share.

Haha I can see crushing on the weatherman, usually they are handsome in their suits and have good strong voices, plus they probably gave you good news regarding the weather so you could go outside to play.
6 Aug 12
The weatherman?? Hahaha, back when I was younger, and by younger, I mean, in my teens, our weather man was a young man also, though he was probably in his early 30's, and he was gorgeous. I always made time for the weather also.

Well, in all honesty, and especially because I have been watching "Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman" again, I had a big secret crush on Dean Cain. He was super hot, and WOW! could he play Clark Kent and Superman very well, also his chemistry with Lois Lane (played by Teri Hatcher) was amazing. Yeah, I was never a big fan of Superman, but he sold me.

Funny how one actor can change your outlook on a show! Thanks for posting.

You're welcome. Well, it wasn't the show, but the character. Before the show came on, I use to watch the Super Friends and Superman: The Animated Series, and I watched the movies, and I thought that Superman was okay, but I still wasn't really a big fan, but when Dean Cain played Superman, he just made it seem like fun and he made Superman seem real cool. He was a real ladies man. I would actually want to swoon over Superman and Clark Kent like Lois Lane did on the show because he was so hot.

A guy with "charm" also known as a "ladies man" can be really attractive so I understand the big fuss. Thanks again.

I'm a product of the 60's and 70's. My first crushes were Ricky Nelson and of course, Paul McCartney. Don't laugh...I was 6. In my early teens it was the likes of Bobby Sherman and OMG...David cassidy. And then Steven Tyler....local hero..love that guy still. He was almost related to us. My cousin was convinced that he was. I am very sure after alot of research that he is not our long lost cousin. Our cousin did grow up in Sunapee but Steve Tyler only vacationed there. They looked alike. Alot of our family members look like his. His hist0ry and my cousins are very similar but with enough differences...not related.

Steven Tyler as in Aerosmith guy, right? If so, I love his music and still at his age he knows how to rock.

I think he's one of those guys that his personality bounced against his appearance is what makes him hot, he's very confident which helps also.

Yes...same guy...just love him. Great personality...just amazing strength of character. As his daughter said, "he'll be rocking out in a wheel chair." Can you not picture that? He will find a way to make being confined to a wheel chair cool. If anyone can do it, it would be him for sure. He has so much charisma. Guys (it's always guys) say that he is so homely and wonder at why the ladies all fall for him. Physically...sure...maybe but I don't know. I think he's hot. Just goes to show you how much personality plays a part in the looks.

When I was a younger girl, I really did have a thing for television doctors. The first one that I remember having a crush on was Dr. Doogie Howser (aka Neil Patrick Harris), that was when I was about seven or eight years old. Then when I was a little bit older I developed a crush on another television doctor, Dr. Ross on ER (aka George Clooney). I will actually admit that I still have a crush on George Clooney. However, I really don't have any television crushes anymore other than the fact that I love George.

Any time I've seen George Clooney in TV interviews, he seems so classy and down to earth which helps the attraction too I think.
6 Aug 12
Oh absolutely, who doesn't just love George Clooney?? I am a bit partial to Michael Knight of All My Children too!

I remember my first hearthrob. It was this kid called lucky on my moms soap opera I think it was all my children. Luckys real name was Johnathan Jackson. He was adorable. I remember writing him a letter and sending it to him and getting a postcard back that was mass produced and sent as a reply to anyone who sent him anything haha. I used to dream about him all the time. I was around his age but cannot think off the top of my head how old I was at the time.

I remember those kinds of post cards, I sent a letter to Jennie Garth and Tiffany Amber Thieseen from 90210 as a fan but I think back then I believed that they personally replied back to me.

I can remember my days of watching the Partridge family just to sse David Cassidy and hear him sing. His posters hung on so many of my walls and i even had patridge Family lunchbox to take to school. I still think that Davisd Cassidy is dreamy but i think I have moved from the childood tv crush I had on him.

I had two crushes when I was younger. My first one was Hobie (Jeremy Jackson) on Baywatch. My second childhood crush was Zack Morris (Mark Paul Gosselar) on Saved By the Bell. I loved them both at different times, Lol.

That is funny that you came across the show after we talked about this, I guess you were meant to be reminded of it. Remember how much drama there was between Jessie and Slatter, she called him "Bubba" and always got so upset when he would make his sexist comments to her. Hey, did you ever watch the movie where Kelly and Zack got married in Vegas? I loved that.

I miss Saved by the Bell, occasionally it's on TV on specialty channels but not as often as I'd like! I miss the drama between Zack and Kelly, i remember where they had that slow dance at prom where she told Zack that she loves Jeff ( the manager at "the max"), she left Zack for him and he ended up being a creep!

As much as I liked Zack, I loved him and Kelly together too. I hated that episode. I wanted to cry! And when they found out about Jeff being a creep I wanted to punch him in the face!! Lol. Ha! My husband just put on Saved by the Bell on one of those channels. Lol. That was too funny that we were just talking about it.

It's not that much of an old crush for me, but I was really crushing on Alex O'Laughlin on Moonlight! As for older crushes, I know he was too old for me back then, but I really thought the presenter for Legends of The Hidden Temple on Nickelodean was cute :D.

Oh yeah, I grew up in the '70 and had posters of all my favorite hot throbs. Leif Garrett was one of them. It's so funny to see him in the tabloids, still a bad boy but not so good looking. There was also Shaun Cassidy, the Bee Gee's and another band, who knows if anyone has ever heard of them, but they were called the Bay City Rollers. Such a fun fun time of my life!

I remember having posters in my room from my teen years, posters literally taped overlapping each other-- Jonathan Taylor Thomas was one of the lucky ones hanging in my room. My mom didn't like this because it peeled the paint off the walls, but she got over it.

I remember that show, I miss it sometimes. Didn't he end up being a doctor on the show? Or he was atleast going to medical school during the last few seasons if I remember correctly.
