hELLO,
I always use Yahoo Messenger to send SMS when I dont have credit in my phone. But sometimes your friend needs to answer/reply before you can send any more to the same person.

yes, I can use it sometimes if the recipient is on a mobile mode but if it's not you cannot use this.

To be honest, I do not think there are anything more reliable and really free than online chat programs like MSN, QQ, or multiple platform online messaging programs like eBuddy, Trillian or similar.
These programs are basically free where it costs literally nothing to install onto our computers and mobile phones. After installing, both parties will simply need to log on to maintain connectivity. On the mobile end, I believe most of the cellular network providers do provide subscription packages which includes free limited internet access and hence makes these messaging "costless". I am sure I do not have to elaborate the savings if these texts are from international overseas borders.
If you have a thing for text messaging between mobile phones and multimedia messages like songs or photos or even video clips then you may want to consider a program or app known as "Whatsapp" which is really a wonderful app to have. You just need your other party have the same program in their mobile phones and everything can be transmitted. However, do be wary of your maximum permitted online allowance when you are transmitting these messages which can be quite considerable especially when the file is a video feed.

artemis thanks for your information here. I really think that those who are in subscription can get free SMS without any additional cost.
I'm quite hesitant to download mobile application as it is not always safe, my privacy and everything can be recorded in their application. Well, thanks for all these.
