that procrastination is the thief of time is a cliche....... most of us have heard that a thousand times. while growing up i thought it was only a problem of young people until i discovered that even adults, parents have the same problem. i have seen parents delay important decisions about their children's welfare just because they don't want to take the bold step. on the other hand, i have discovered that when i delay making an important decision or completing a task, it doesn't make it any easier, rather it becomes more difficult taking the first step. procrastination is not only a thief of time, it also lead to low self esteem and other social ills. my advice is: just take the first bold step in faith and subsequently you'll be amazed how fast you will go. so PUT AN END TO PUTTING IT OFF

Absolutely right.I admit I have been among those who tend to procrastinate. But yesterday I suddenly took a bold decision to start writing an article for Expertscoloumn,a task that I had been postponing for nearly fifteen days.Initially it seemed to me too difficult to write even a single sentence, but I persisted and finished the article within an hour.I can't tell you how upbeat I was feeling after completing it.Procrastination amounts to wastage of time that is the most precious wealth.I agree with you.

I agree with you entirely, however procrastination is somewhat a common thing that humans always do, we always assume that time is on our side and that we can complete work with quality at the last minute. In actual fact, by procrastinating, one can miss out on a lot of rare opportunities such as finding a life partner, business dealings, job opportunities etc etc.
It's great to see that you've understood the danger of procrastination and changing for the better. All the best in your future endeavors! :)
