In January a cat came to stay at my place. My son and my daughter asked me to keep the cat as they liked it. After two months time the cat gave birth to four little kittens. Now the four little kittens are four months old. Last week I noticed that the mother cat's belly was growing big. After much observation we discovered that the cat is pregnant again. I don't know what to do now. My house will be full of cats now. I have no time to look after them.

Hi velentina. This is a huge problem in the world. The cats have litters of kitties and some people can't take care of them. Why not have the cat spayed or neutered, not now cause she is preggo again, but after this pregnancy I suggest that you please take her to a good vet and have this procedure done otherwise you will only have more and more cats around. Its not fair to the cats, they should have a proper home and someone to take care of them well, too. I hope you can at least give the kitties a good home if you can't watch after them all.

Even if she is pregnant you can still get her fixed. I say take her to the vet get her fixed and save yourself the trouble of caring for more unwanted pets. For the 4 that you have put an add up that your looking to give 4 kittens away free. If people need them they will take them. I feel that giving a animal for a gift is not a good idea cause what if the people that you give the cat to cant care for it and they don't take the time to find it a new home? Just an idea but some thing to think about. Just see if you can find them a good home and get your other cat fixed before she has those baby's.

You are right I am thinking of donating some of the cats to relatives who stay at home. And of course I will have to take the mother cat to be sterilized.

hi valentina
My father and I like cats. We are animal lovers..:)but in your case having many unwanted cats is really serious.. Animals deserve a proper care too. What about giving the kittens to your neighbors :) Just in case they're interested.

You can go to someone you know and ask if they want a cat. And get the mother cat sterilized. You should also get these 4 first cats out of the house. You can go to a market place, set up a little place for yourself to give them away.

I am sorry but the comment of get the cats out of your home cat hair causes cancer has outraged me. It is NONSENSE please dont take any notice of those comments.
You have already been given some sound advice, I hope there are menas of help for you.
There are many animal welfarew groups who offer free nuetering, and who can take the other kittens off your hands too, it may not be too long before those kittens already here can start to breed.
Speying the mother is your best course of actoin. OF course should you not be able to cope with any of the cats then PLEASE turn them all over to an animal welfare group do not jsut turnt hem out onto the streets

Where did you hear that cat hair causes cancer? Cat hair normally doesn't even go inside any body in the first place, wether it does or not. This is silly. I have never heard that. And to say not to show animals kindness is one of the most awful things I have ever heard in my life. That makes me sad.

I don't know if cat's hair cause cancer or not but I can say cats are dangerous for health. My cats are spreading hairs everywhere which is not hygienic. I won't be cruel to them but I will find a home for each of them as I cannot take care of them.

As far as i know, cat hair is harmless unless you have an allergy or asthama. And please, show as much kindness to animals as you can.

. Some days my wife also complained of having to take care of nine cats. While the mother cat was pregnant. Then I, my wife and our two sons, plans to sell some.

Oh no! We have the same situation, our cat named "Mary" is pregnant for the third time this year! Imagine how many kittens she has now! We don't keep them though because we can't take care all of them. Sadly, we have to give them all away
Maybe you could also give some of the kittens to your friends and neighbor..

It is important to find homes for all the cats except the one who keeps getting pregnant.
Then it's in your best interest, and the cat's, to have her fixed so she won't multiply and replenish the earth with kitties, all by her self.
Good luck with this situation.

I would try and find homes for all the kittens because, cats can grow on a house and its better to rid of them before you become the "crazy cat lady". trust me i think my step mom is on her way there, they have 4 cats and i wasnt too happy when i heard they got the 4th one they live in a small tralior with 2 kids there not much room for it and im pretty sure my step brother is getting allergies from all the cats. hes only 7 its kind of sad. thank godness i dont live with them.

Haha, it is interesting that your house is full of cats. Maybe you can give the little cats to your neighbor or friends as gifts.

I have a female cat in my house and we too have the same problem. Actually its not a problem for us because my cat is white with a bushy black tail and it looks lovely. So as soon as my cousins and friends see the swollen stomach of my preggo cat, they want the kitties and they reserve one for themselves even before they are born. We dont have a problem with our kitty getting preggo every now and then as long as there is good demand for the kitties.
And my god, I read someone said cat hair causes cancer. If so, domestic cats would be the biggest human killers.Every one would die of cancer.

In my country, people feed dogs and cats, when they have babies, they sent the little cats or dogs to a friend or a relitive who likes little animals. Most them will bring the little things to the market and sell them, they make a lot of money by doing this.
