There's rain all night and it seems that it would last the whole day.The weather news say that it might last till Friday.Flood is everywhere. Offices are closed and so are the schools. Hope that everyone is safe. It is hard, but we Filipinos, through our bayanihan could make this through

Amen to that. I also hope and pray that there will be no more repeat of the tragedies of the past floods; I hope people will get enlightened that their lives are more valuable than their properties as these are replaceable. I heard on the news that some families refused to leave their homes even if the flood water is already neck-deep.

Me too. I might not be in the area that is heavily affected but it is still scary even watching from a TV screen. I just hope the rain will at least stop. If this condition cotiue, I’ll trun into a hibernating bear!

Hi,
Its also a dry country over in Mindanao, been one week since the last shower which is not much; just to remind the plants not to dry under the hot sun.
I wonder why Manila, or Luzon for that matter, gets all the water while we go dry here. In fact, we have a hot weather as if it is summer once again.
I like this setup though, I hate floods, the garbage in the sea, the mud and the limited visibility underwater when we go SCUBA diving. We do not have that here, for now.

Yes the rain was unstoppable the other night. It has devastated the entire metro manila. What a big disaster indeed. Many lives are lost and could not help but pity these victims. I hope these kind of devastation won't happen again. But it happens every now and then because many people are hard-headed. Even if they are in risky places they they don't want to evacuate. When would people ever learn?

i also saw that on tv. I saw that the streets were flooded and it was almost on the knees. I hope that all people in Manila will be careful and they should not go out of the house unless they will go to the centers.
