every one get affected. even if you own the most beautiful homes, when calamities strike it will not spare you. all people can get affected. so in times like this you would feel that every one is just the same. no matter how much money you make in your daily life. so i hope that a lot of people are safe now. but i have heard of some casualties of the rains already. but i just hope that there won't be any more victims.

Indeed! It's raining hard here as well, I have heard the news showing a lot of homes and people being displaced. There were even places with waters reaching more than 6 feet! I could just imagine the material things bought (cars, appliances, etc.) floating! Whew!
I just hope that there wouldn't be human-life casualties. Indeed when mother-nature gets her time, she spares no one with her wrath - be it the poor or the rich.
Be safe everyone. Have a great MyLOt experience ahead!

I absolutely agree with you. In times of calamities, there are no rich and poor people. However, rich people can move on to their life quickly after the calamities unlike the poor ones. I hope government will provide shelters, food and clothings for them. Let's pray for the victims of these calamities.

I suppose, in the main, people are all the same in such a situation. The only thing I will say is that, if something happens where, for example, property is destroyed or you have to move away for some other reason, it's going to be a lot easier for a rich person to rebuild their life.

Being rich do not bullet proof them from any calamities. They too suffer along with the poor as everyone is the same in the eyes.of.god. only that they have better luck in life which made them live a more.comfortable life than the poor. Being rich or poor makes.no.difference once calamities strike as no one will be spared.

That is so true. We have witnessed a great increased in disasters over the past years and they are getting worse. Many of them are the effects of heedless human actions. If people have not become greedy and did not forsake our earth just to gain wealth and popularity, disasters were not be as devastating as what we are experiencing at present. In the end, it is also us who will suffer for our careless activities. And like you have said, when disaster strikes, it does not choose where to land, whether you are poor or rich, young or old, innocent or not. It is sad the even innocent people have to suffer and experience the effect of those actions.

yeah sure calamities come for everyone one, like how God sees everyone equal. Here on earth, humans have made categories. It is so silly. The rich people normally don't hang around with the poor. I don't know why. I don't like this quality of human beings at all. have a wonderful day.
