We are going to my grandma's for thanksgiving. She will make a turkey and bake pies, and the rest of us bring everything else.

yes that is what I was looking forward to with our travel plans, a wonderful dinner with all the traditional fixins. We don't get that so much at my Moms house, they like to add odd things to the dinner.
Thanks for the response:)

We don't have any plans for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately we can't afford to have one. We wont be having a Christmas celebration (no presents) this year too. I wish I could get a part time job but sometimes my husband has to work on his days off.

I definately know what you are feeling. I am questioning myself where I suppose to get the money ro Christmas gifts. We have no extra money or no credit cards. Luckly my kids are young and I will be able to get away with very inexpesive items.
Thanks for your response, Hope things get better for you:)

My mom always cooks Thanksgiving dinner. Usually it's my Aunt (mom's sister) and her 4 kids that attend and all of my 4 sisters and 1 brother. This year my aunt and my cousins won't attend because they are going to visit my deceased uncle's family so it will only be my family. Which in a way is better if it's only my family! Less people and more food and less mess!(sounds mean!)

My sister invited us to her house for dinner. This weekend I will cook our turkey and have my children over for dinner. I love turkey so I don't mind having more of it.
Hope you get the job.
