Hello welcomeonlyone, I believe that the most important thing that a new employee should do is to give a good first impression of himself/herself to his/her colleagues. Once a good impression is given, relationships will be easier to be forged with your colleagues. Try to offer any form of help to those colleagues in need, whether it is a small problem or a huge one. Small things go a long way, such as borrowing a pen to your colleague who needs it, or even just offering to buy a meal for your colleague. Be confident, but not arrogant.
