Hello loganjane18, I feel for managing people you must know the nature of people and then tackle them.I know people under me well.Some like appreciation and some only want increments so accordingly we need to handle them.

Well if I have to manage people under me, I will make a team. I have been a sales manager and it takes lots to manage a sales team because most of the time in sales we get rejected and it is very discouraging. So I had to encourage the people under me. I used to motivate them every now and then .. showed then the movie secret and lots of saying that are motivational. this is how I used to manage people under me. good day to you.
