With the big screen TV, and all the advanced technology for home entertainment, less and less people would come to movie theater like the old days to watch movies. With the availability of Netflix, Redbox, and other online movie service providers, you are good to go without driving to your nearby movie theaters. In an attempt to bring back customers, I heard some movie theaters would shake up their settings. They would re-design the seats to move along with the movies actions; or they might use smoke for create some mysterious atmosphere in the theater. It is started in the New York city and Los Angeles. I just wonder how would these movie theaters would attract us back to the cinema?

4D is an intersting way too.. other than 3D.. an added sensory like smell..(as in SPY KIDS 4-D) where they gave audience scrath cards that emits smells while watching a scene of th emovie where they have to scrath the number on the card accordingly..
and I SERIOUSLY doubt technologies in Tv today make lesser people wanting to go to movie theatres.. THERE is more people going to movie house for a fact since 1997 TITANIC.. that is the reason why you can see movie today can make billions$$$.in box office gross .compares to the olden days of SUPERMAN or STAR WARS or DIE HARD..where getting $300million is too much..to be believable.

These really look awesome! you can find them on youtube. if you go there and do a search for them, you can see the people having so much fun! They are already in many Asian countries, and the youtubes for them over there laughing and screaming are really awesome. Probably did not start here first, because Castle (horror film maker) tried it. He did it in the 1950s and it did not work out as well. They tried smellavision and they could not get the old smells out before the new ones entered, and people got sick. My sister was at the theater where they showed the 'tingler' and that was awesome, because wome people screamed when their legs were brushed. Look up castle and see how he tried to make theater interactive. In one film, some seats where rigged for small electric shocks. Interesting stuff! Did not go over well here. However, in Asia, it's popular, also, it's not the fifties anymore, so the tech is more advanced.

Yes 4D theatres seat will move as per the scene i have one experience with this type it is awesome. If there is a scene in jungle in flim means we really feel we also travelling along with the characters of the flim in that jungle that much it will be nice.. If some water falls there in the flim means they will spray some water so we feel we also in water falls like that it will be different experience..
