Hi, It's true that calamities happens naturally but the aftermath of these calamities would have been prevented if only we cared enough to our nature. I would say floods and land slides for examples are not only to be blamed to mother nature, we humans also have contributed a lot to it.

As Newton said " For every action, there is always an equal and opposite reactions". Human interventions are the caused of natural disasters that we are currently facing.

The earth is stil a dangerous place. Its stil a wild one. Lives always are to fight for survival in here. Here is Tsunami, earthquake, tornado, rock rain, defening thunder, lightning, flood etc. Here human has not yet evolved to human. Rules or principles of governing states have not become quite friendy for total human honourable survival or has not become quite philanthropic. Stil one section of people are in luxeries and the other large number of people are living in hunger, disease, illiteracy, unclothing, malnutrition, immedication or malmedication. Thousands of people in this planet are stil homeless. Millions of children and babies die so before they reach the relief camps or medicine camps. And other class of people are too nervous, retarded and idiot to understand this situation and take proper step. This earth has become unipolar recently and this uni power and its allies are advocating for inhuman, falsehood and invade and plunder other oil or natural resources. The poor invaded countries are unable to fight this inhumanity and are being exploited, lost and are suffering so dangerous. But we want the end of this global imbalance of power situation for overall global peace, prosperity and survival.

The world is what we make out of it. Natural calamities are uncontrollable, but we can sure do something to avoid any more casualties from learning from the past. We cannot change nature's course but we can change the way we live which can help or break us. All others which are way beyond our control, I think we just have to hold on to our faith. Things happen for a reason only our good Lord can fathom. We will never understand the workings and doings of God, and how it will affect us all; all we can do is just pray and ask His guidance in whatever we face.

"Ecc 9:10 whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might" as long as you are God loving and doing your best, nobody or nothing can harm you. yes we can protect our family but there is One up there who can do best than what we could. be faithful and leave everything to God. It is guaranteed. I work abroad for a year and a half, leaving my wife and 3yo daughter. we have a computer rental inside our house running up to 11pm. do you think i can protect them from thieves or any threat with our door house open most of the days? i can not neither anybody but God does. thanks to Him.
