I bought those mini apple pie from Walmart, and forgot about it. I cut a tiny piece tonght, and I love when it has a little whip cream and connomon on it. Well I didnt realize the wrong end was open, and poured a pile of connomon on it. I didnt want to waste the piece of pie, so Ive been eating it. Its not bad if you mix it all together.

Don't the pies have alot of cinnamon in them anyways? Unless they don't use enough or you just want to add alittle more. I usually just eat them as is, some ship cream is OK if I am in the mood for it but not a dire need for it. Our tastes are all different though and my wierd brother has put ketchup on his apple pie long ago---ewwwwwwwww. Some people even put cheese on it which I'm not sure why, does it taste better that way? hmmm. I really hate when I have a salt shaker and too much salt goes into something accidentally, I end up having to throw it away. It rarely happens though, thankfully. I remember some stories of how people put salt in the sugar bowl as a joke, thats very rotten, ha!

The only pies I can think of that are mini come in a brown box and are called "old fashioned" they are about 68 or 78 cents. They are really good but so very small. It's like one serving unless you cut them teenie tiny. I'm not sure I've ever had cinnamon on my apple pie unless it's baked into it, though I have had whipped cream on it. Sounds good either way though.

I think that might be what I had bought. Its in a brown box, and they are a little bigger than the one serving (well to me anyways). But they are $4.00 here, I got them on clearance for $2.00.

Cinnamon is one of those spices that can overwhelm a dessert, but apples and cinnamon are a great combo so hopefully it came out tasty all the same. I love apple strudel(with a lot of cinnamon), and I add a stick or cinnamon powder to my baked or cooked apples. Other fruit pies don't seem to work as well with cinnamon, I once made the mistake of adding cinnamon to a cherry pie it changed the flavour completely. Well hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the discussion. This caught my eye because I just bought one of those pies from walmart. I thought you were going to say it had way to much cinnimon in it I was about to be disappointed lol. Maybe next time pour it into your hand first then sprinkle it on the pie. I love apple pie with whipped cream on top I prefer this over icecream as well. I really don't like caramel apple pie either I just like the old fashion thing. I must try it with whipped cream and a cinnimon but I'll be sure to check the lid to ensure the big hole is not open ;) Thanks for the discussion

I do this kind of thing all the time when I eat applesauce. Although I had the right end, the cinnamon still comes out in a big clump and then I have to mix it in or else the flavor is too strong. I've heard that it's darn near impossible to keep a tablespoon of cinnamon in your mouth for longer than a few seconds. I am not willing to be one to experiment with this, however.

I love cinnamon and have never had TOO much cinnamon, but I suppose it could happen...

Oh I hate when I do this with my food. Cinnamon is really strong to begin with so when you dump a lot of it on - its almost impossible to eat. I guess I wouldn't want to waste the pie either because I love apple pie! I would try to scrape off most of the cinammon and then stir it up and eat it.
