I'm actually thinking of ideas to celebrate our first anniversary, but I'm really out of ideas. I already made him a scrapbook putting all the significant dates that we spent together. Do you still have other unique ideas? I really want it to be special.

Hello barbiesacol88 Celebrating your first anniversary might be exciting, right? Scrapbook is also fun since you like to treasure special events together with him..lol.. What about, candle light dinner to an expensive restaurant,,Do you think it's a good idea...?

hello litvillegas Although it would be quite tempting to have a dinner date, we're kind of slowing down on the expenses a bit. But we might give it a try. The only decent thing that I could cook right now would be spaghetti and nothing else. He actually excels on the cooking part. But thanks for the great idea though.

Well I don't know if this would be too cheesey or not, but I will throw it out there anyways. If you two have a special song why not have a special evening and end it with a slow dance to that song.

I will definitely extend this song idea - How about cooking what your hubby likes, a candle light dinner with some soft romantic music in the background and after the dinner a dance to that favorite song?

why not go to spa together. its relaxing and you are together. or the usual cook something for him. guys really loves home cook meals. i guess so har har har. you can also watch some videos on youtube and be the one to give him a massage. if thats what you think you can give. my wife is kinda creative when it comes to anniversary. i am not good with gifts, silly me. it all depends what your man wants and how can he appreciates you.

My friend bought bags of kisses and had bought a heart shape glass container. She inserted very tiny papers of her words in the chocolate and put them everything in the heart shape glass... too much effort but well appreciated.. And have some candle light dinner with your theme song played..

For my first anniversary with my boyfriend I made him a little book of 365 reasons why I love him (a reason for every day we had been together). I also put pictures of us in the book too. He thought it was the sweetest thing. For our two year anniversary I don't think we gave each other anything. We just spent the whole day together doing fun stuff. We went kayaking by the beach, had lunch and ice cream at this good old-fashioned ice cream shop/restaurant, and then that evening we went out to a nice restaurant for dinner. If you don't want to do the 365 reasons (lol it took me a while to come up with them all), you could always take a deck of playing cards and do a 52 reasons why I love you. Or you can also take a little mini-notebook and do "The alphabet of our love" inside. For each letter of the alphabet write down something related to you and your relationship. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your anniversary!
