I'm thinking about becoming a CASA worker. There are alot of kids that are being abused and they need someone to be their voice and want to be a voice for them. I know it will be time comsuming but you get what you give. So I love helping other's I've prayed about it as well. I would like some idea's on this feel free to comment.

My daughter is going into Human Services but not that branch, you burn our real easy there and they move you around a lot in the system so you aren't in one area too much because of the burn out ratio. Most calls are just false calls because someone is mad at someone else which wastes precious time for them to find the ones that are real. Sad but true. These workers work hard, and are paid very little, and sometimes even see kids go back to parents and get hurt all over again. If you think God is moving maybe you could do outreach on informing parents or having classes that will help parents not lose their tempers or get help from the things they do wrong, so that they can be better parents in the future.

That would be a good plan for you SJ. If that would make you complete well, there is nothing wrong about it as you could help a lot of children along the way.
