In the last few months Ive been switching my cats over to better, and healthier food. I was feeding them the cheapiest such as Friskies, and so on. I changed their dry food, and they took too it. I may try a few different brands to see if they like other types. I was iffy about switching their wet food as they are picky, I got one that so many rave about. But all natural, and even the way they store it or produce it in the can. So they had that for breakfast, they ate it all up and stayed in their own dishes. So I may buy that its about double the price of the cheapier brands but the more you buy the more you get a deal. The store owner has set that up, also you get a 15% discount so bonus on my part. My Mom came in and bought a product I want to try for them. Its freeze dried, and you add wwater.

It is great to hear that your cats like the new food that you have tried out for them. With my cats, it doesn't seem like they are at all picky about the food that they will eat, they will eat pretty much everything that I put in front of them. It is because of this fact that I feed them the food that tends to be cheaper. They don't have a favorite at all. I will admit, that I am leary of feeding my pets wet food because I am just superstitious and I did have a cat die not too long after I fed him his first can of wet food.

I would like to feed a higher grade of food, but with as many as I have, I feed them the best I can afford.
When I got Mo and Diva the previous owner was buying "special" food for Mo but the cheapest junk for Diva. Well, I feed Purina One and they have both thrived on it! Diva has lost weight from getting a better diet and Mo has too, even tho we free feed, he doesn't fear that there won't be food when he wants it.

It's good that you have been switching your cats over to better food.
There are a few brands that I like--and of which my feline children greatly approve (crunch, crunch, crunch...). I prefer to keep their diet grain-free as much as possible and, of course, free of dyes.

As I know the best pet food is made in Canada. We tried to feed our puppy with a very famous canadian brand dry food, but it didn't like it for longer eating, so we bought again Royal Canin. When we took the pup we understood that such low class food is not good for any animal. It cause health problems. Canadian dry food for pups and cats is the best, because they make it mostly of meat. When you read the list of things there are in a package you will understand which is the best for your cats. As example every low class food has too much colors and cereal products.
Pets like meat and this is the best food for them, also with vegetables which contain vitamins. If you don't feel your pets with high quality food, it would be good if you give them vitamins with pills to make their fur look shiny, their body healthy.

Good, I'm glad they like it, my cat is so used to her Fancy Feast (this was my mom's choice of food to give her as she buys the food) now that if I even try to give her something "new" or different she won't eat it. The deal you get on it sounds wonderful. The natural food should be better for them, cheaper isn't always better. I always gave my other cats Friskies (the bigger cans) for the most part cause the can was used up faster with having 3+ cats in the house. Then when I had only one cat the smaller cans seemed to be right for them.
