India got the 3rd Bronze medal of this Olympics. So now India have 4 medals.
So this is the first time India getting 4 medals in an olympics.
Now India have 3 bronze and 1 silver.
Mery Com was the expected to perform more better, but she was not able to perform well in Semi final.
Britain's Nicola Adams was the opponent, she was 2nd seeded in the event.
From the first quarter, She dominated the match, Mary Com was unable to find her form as she was not accurate at her punches. She lost the match 11-6.
Any way the medal will be cheered by all Indians, Its a happy moment for India.
Congratulations Mary Com.....

Yes she tried her best, but she was forced to settle with bronze. It is good rule that both semi final losser will get bronze without playing another match in boxing. Everyone expected her to qualify for final. Anyway we have to satisfy with bronze now. And as you pointed this is india's highest medal tally in a olympics. Hope india will get some more medal from boxing and wrestling and make this olympics a memorable one. And i wish india to win at least one gold and make our anthem play in london.

Yes, she really fought well. All Indians were expecting her to reach final, but her opponent was from Britain and she was having a great support also, and she won the Gold medal at last.
Yes, it will be very nice to hear the Indian anthem from London, Now the only chance and hope for it is on Sushil Kumar.

Mery Com may have been defeated by Britain's Nicola Adams, but she is the real champion being a mother of two children and reaching such a high level without getting the proper facilities for preparing herself for the biggest show on the earth. As an Indian, I am really proud of her. I think she deserves love and respect from all Indians and henceforth, may be a source of inspiration to others.

yes, Mary com made us proud by winning bronze.
She is a mother of two and a police officer, so more and more facilities should be given to her.

But unfortunately, the chief minister of the state she belongs to as well as her superiors in the Home department of the same state where she is attached as a police officer did not even congratulate her by a SMS. After criticism from different quarters or sensing that it might send a bad signal to the country men, they were compelled to congratulate her by SMSs but that too after more than 24 hours which they ought to send immediately after her winning of the bronze medal.

Yes, this is why India struggles to win more medals.....
Here most of the officials are not interested in promoting and encouraging sports.

I am excepting one more medal in Wrestling. If we get that one it will be better. India medals count is increasing every Olympic inch by inch. Government has to do more.

Yes, Indian medal count is increasing in every Olympics as time passes.
Now India has 1 more bronze, total of 5 medals.
The Government should support the athletes more and should provide them more facilities...

Yes, me too expected more than a bronze from her.
More support should be give to athletes.
The opponent was very strong one.
India have still chance to increase the medal count.
Devendro will play his boxing quarter, so if he wins it, then one more sure medal for India.
Also India have hope in the Wrestling which is not started yet.
