The Wiggles...

Ugh. I have never liked the Wiggles and I see they have returned, now on PBS.
We were outside playing for about 2 hours and I wanted LO to sit still for a few minutes grab a snack and some water before nap time. I flipped on the TV. For her to watch Super Why and the next show was the Wiggles, which of course she is happy watching. My son was much too old for the Wiggles when they came out but I remember my nephew watching the show.
Did you kids watch the Wiggles? Do you like the show?

As much as I hate the show, I will admit...the Fruit Salad song is very catchy!! I think at one point I even had it on my ipod...

I remember the fruit salad song. I think for the most part food songs from The Wiggles have been replaced by Food songs from Yo Gabba Gabba.

My children loved the wiggles.I use to think oh no not again when it come on, as some were repeated time after time.
Do you find that the repeats you tend to sing along to, lol, as in the end that is what I was doing, lol, also the children had all the videos, even the ones with loads of songs in and they were singing them day in day out.

I'm okay with most kids shows, The Wiggles, Dora, Diego, and a few other really annoy me. Honestly, I am glad my daughter likes many different TV shows so she doesn't watch the same ones over and over again.

Omg I can't stand them lol. I don't have kids but some of my cousins were young enough to watch them when they came out and it was torture to have to sit there.
Now that I'm older I appreciate the fact that my mom put up with all the annoying kiddy shows. I'm 20 so the wiggles were after my time but I remember I was about 6 when Blues Clues came out during the summer and that's all I watched. Lol I think my mom got really sick of that show.

I remember my son watching Blues Clues and it wasn't that bad. When he was little little like my daughter, there were not many options for kids TV. It was pretty much Blues Clues and Sesame Street.

I watched it when I was a kid. I think I cried when I watched it, it was that bad. TV shows with a conflict and a plot are far better.
