A friend dropped by your door and handed you 4 choco candies in the presence of your 5 children. What will you do to satisfy all of the 5 without a grunt?

Perhaps your children are not of the same age? What was the candy like? Can it be divided into pieces?

Aries naman kaberi-strick. The ages of the children as well as the sizes of the candies are immaterial. Our point here for the children is equality, not for any of them to think or say something unlikely.

He he he grandpa answered about division already that is why I am thinking some other way. So I though maybe one of the children can not eat the candy, perhaps he is still a baby. Peace nic! Have a nice day!

Cut each into 5 equal size bits and give each child 4 pieces. Lash

4 small bits of the candy given to each child fit exactly into the puzzle. You did it right grandpa. I presume nobody of the children has reason to grumble.

Nice! I would've said the same. But you did it before. Good job!

Thank the friend for the gift but decline it. Children don't need to have candles.

Easier said than done. It is said that not to receive an offer from a friend is an insult.

This really is a tough question because generally the rule is if you don't have enough for everyone then don't come into the house. It has been that way since I was a little kid and it avoided alot of hardache. One cannot eat something in front of the others so I'd pass on the candy. When this friend left I'd opt to take the kids to the store and let them pick out their own candy as a treat. Fair is fair and we even go so far as being sure their is enough for the adults as well.

The exercise was for us users to once in a while use our head to think ways to solve problems. Thanks for your response.
