How do we stop the abuse of mother nature and rescue humanity from destruction?

I'm quite confused, and amused at the same time of people who selflessly own the blame for the calamities that has victimized them. They have owned the change of our climate like they are the large logging concessionaires, large mining lords, mindless and greedy industrialists.
Does change within ourselves stop exploitation of mother nature? Definitely not. Only certain sections of mankind and society are the ones driving and leading the abuse ravaging mother earth, and destruction of the entire humanity.
Even if establishment stops because of flooding, the day's trade of commodities, stocks, and currency exchange will not stop. Not even when people are dying of famine, drought, and floods caused by their mindless and greedy directions leading humanity to total oblivion.

this remains to be one of the toughest evils that our government needs to address. If the administration would do simple yet effective solutions to resolve this through "Political Will" then we have a chance of achieving that goal.

This is one tough move for the government. Even they already saw the effect of nature destruction in the past, many are still abusing our environment just to earn money. There are already instances that these happened in some areas of our country but still you can see continous destruction of mother nature.
Educating the people is not enough.
This is really one of most difficult move that really needs immediate implementation and monitoring.
