Have you ever receive a message from someone that made you cry? cry not because it hurts you but cry because you're happy to know about the message of the letter. One morning I read my bible and my Best friend brought me to the this text in Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." what a promising and touching word. It gives me an assurance that I need not to worry despite trials and challenges in life because God is with me and He wants the best for me. of course we have to do something for us as well.
We like to plan, even me I like planning and organizing my plan. In fact a week before or 2 days before the exact date I already plan what to do, every Tuesday I plan my week end activities and 3 days before pay day (salary) I already planned what to do, what to buy. Everything for me is being organize, yet truth still remain, our plans are not as best as the plan of God and our thoughts are not as best as the thoughts of God. So some of my plans will not really happen and just change. Some also change for an unexpected event or reasons. I think planning is good to we can have an organize life yet,an open heart and discipline is needed in this.

Hello, i am also like you organize but for almost 10 years now being organize is only Plan B because every thing is God's will and I put my trust in him.
Seek yee first the Kingdom of God and everything will be added unto you. A daily bread and a peaceful like.

Hi, marika true indeed that our plan is just a Plan B compared to the plan of God in our life. You're right seeking the Kingdom of God ( His dominion over us) is the best thing to do, for whatever He promise He will not leave until His done with His greatest plan in our life. He is a God of order, a God of fulfillment, a God of promise. Keep living with faith in Him!

It is heart warming to read messages like yours and those who posted comments on your topic.
God really works in so many different ways, even here in MyLot. I was actually worried because my son hasn't attended church in the last two weeks because they have activities in his school. I believe my son really needs His guidance especially now that his ways ways are changing so fast, with him entering a new life in high school at a new university and with all the new friends influencing him. He is not that bad, but he is not as good a kid as he was before back in his younger years. Sometimes I wonder where his dad and I had gone wrong that he is not the older brother to his siblings and not the sweet son to us that we'd expected him to be. But of course I'm being unfair to him to be asking too much from him when he is already trying his best so I am trying to keep an open mind and like my mom said, it will help if he has fear in God.
I know myself that I grew up in an environment much better than what my kids have now. There wasn't much exposure to vices and violence before, unlike now that the tv, Internet, newspapers, or even our own neighborhood becomes such. My mom said it is because people nowadays lose time for God. Not much faith and not much fear in Him results to doing what man selfishly wants for himself. Painfully true actually.
Which is why I'm also trusting God has a better plan for my son. I pray his dad and I will have the chance to draw him closer to the Lord as he grows older so I need not worry where his life is going to. "In His time"... As the Bible says... "In His right time"...

I am delighted to know that this message touches the heart of one of the readers; whatever you are feeling right now always remember that God is in control; remember this lyrics of the song " God will make a way when we seems to be their is no way". Just keep on holding on to His promises to you. God loves you!
