For such a small word, a lot is packed into the meaning of sin. The bible describes sin as the breaking, or transgression, of god's law (1 john 3:4). it is also defined as disobedience of rebellion against god (deuteronomy 9:7), as well as independence from god. the original translation means "to miss the mark" of god's holy standard of righteousness.

According to what my Pastor taught us as Apostle Paul said, Sin (noun) is a place of curse brought about by the disobedience of Adam and Eve. The power that God placed on man was stolen by the devil the day they fall into temptation. It is only through accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour that we crossed from the place of Sin into Life. We receive forgiveness and abundant grace from God. He paid our past, present and future sins.

For me a sin is a separation of God's love to Human's and everything are connected with it. That all i can write coz it basically everything goes on if we commit sin.

Anyone who has navigated a boat on a river or sailed a boat on the sea or a lake will tell you that, to be successful and safe, you must understand and work WITH the currents and the winds and to respect and understand the way that they are going, otherwise you will be driven onto the rocks or your boat will be swamped by the waves. It seems to me that, to undertake this journey of life successfully is very much like being in a small boat in a great river where we must constantly be aware of the currents and the dangers. If we try to go our own way against the current, that is 'sin' but if we are always aware of where the flow is taking us and guide our boat into the paths which will take us safely through the rocks, that is following the will of God. Religions have always laid down laws and rules, such as the Ten Commandments, which are like a basic sailing manual. There is really no substitute for practical living with prayer and a one-to-one relationship with God. Once you can do that, you can afford to forget about (but never ignore, of course) the 'basic rules' because you will follow them naturally and you will lose your fear of doing wrong because your heart will always know and do what is right and according to 'the Way'.

If it virtually hart anyone, anything can be considered as sin. In the dictionary, the meaning has defined differently also. But for me, all such things are 'defined' by men for our convenience and we made a lots of boundaries based on the social life and for a betterment of group living. An order is required to maintain when there are a lots of people living and to maintain the smoothness, we have made a lots of control in different ways. A wife looking to a unknown person is also considered as sin and a wife murdered on the suspect that he was talking to a pass by person, assuming that he was her boyfriend. Killing is considered as sin. For what almost everything is sin here and I don't thin it is right. It must be written here and there and people may be telling also. But for my part, nothing is sin or everything is sin. Decide which one we like and go ahead. When we die, where will go our sins? Or after doing a sin, if someone keep us in a jail for 10 years will get it wiped out? Or if by reading some passages from a book or repeat those sins by word to a third party will reduce the intensity of the sin? All are mess - one thing is sure, everything is depend on how we approach to the matter. Live good and die the way with a reason. That is all.

Sin can be said as wrong doing. Remember the Lord's Prayer? Forgive our sins as we forgive those sins against us. So basically sins is something we do wrong. As for Christians, the guideline is the 10 commandment. The 10 commandment are a rules of loving GOD and humankind.
