Have you ever had a pet like dogs? Have you teach him/her how to sit, stand, jump, play or simlpy have you teach him/her a proper discipline? If yes, then HOW?
I have a female dog named Tiffa I never had time to teach her because I'm too busy that day and also because I don't even know how to teach her properly but sit and lay. She had given birth this past few months and I want to teach her first birth puppy named Bypher. What should I do? When and How should I start? Any idea please. Thank you! :)

Hahaha, I like your subject huh, I don't even have my own dog but I have few relatives that had. They teach them discipline by simle punishment if they did wrong to know/realize that what they did was wrong.

oh yes! Me too, but I just don't know how hard because I'm so pitiful when I do punishment like beaten(slightly hit). :( so, I just don't do anything but shout. Do you think shouting is good or enough?

Shouting is also good you don't need to punish them always, as long as they will know that bad side of them that will be enough.

We have pet dogs, some are trained to become fashionable to dog shows to win some trophy and cash prizes. We do not train our dogs but it was enrolled in a classified dog trainer for correct training. This persons have special skills that dogs understand and they became acquainted with the signs to make them do their steps. You got any idea where to train your pet dog?I wish you will enjoy it!!!!!

Dog trainers are having special sign languages that only dogs could understand that is why they are the sole trainer for dogs.We do not have to ability to train our own dogs even if they are very acquainted with our sign language, yet the sign language of dog trainer are more acceptable by our dog that is why the training is very quick and our dog could know more things from them.

I admire those people who know how to teach dogs easily and quickly. I have an idea where to train dog, it maybe at home or to a dog training place. But ofcourse I have to pay them first that's why I, myself want to learn how to teach them properly for it doesn't need to pay someone but myself. :)

You should wait until the puppy is old enough to start training him.
Many people say the right age for start training is somewhere around the age of 9 or 11 months.
I don't agree with this theory.
A puppy should start basic training as soon as he arrives into his new home. This should be around 8 or 9 weeks of age.
Wait until Bypher is 8 weeks old and start training him.
Always use a reward to make Bypher do whatever you want him to do. Lure him to sit with some food and when he sits, give him the reward. Repeat this a few times and you'll see how fast he learns.
Once you taught him to sit, lay down comes easy. From the sit position, lure him with some food to lay down, by putting the food between his front legs. He will be forced to lay down. If he does this, reward him immediately by giving him the food reward.
Remember to make the training sessions short and fun for both of you.

Oh! Now, I understand! Thank you for your answer. I really appreciate it! :)
Lastly, what should I do if she did wrong (biting, unbehave, etc.)? Isn't it bad to shout? What kind of punishment should I do?
Thank you! :)

ho yoyet,
Welcome to mylot!
Well it's not easy to train a dog I have a chowchow but since this dog is stubborn and has temper problem I don't teach him any because I can't even call him he will just look at me and then snob me.
I also have shetland dog My Everette the breeder said he was one of the brightest breed he knows how to sit, shake hands, lay down only our housekeeper taught him I wanted to enroll him in obedience school but its expensive so I am contented with that 3 tricks he knows .
Better send them to obedience school.
happy mylotting

Hello! Thank you!
Yes, I too. I want to send them on a training school but as you've said it is so expensive, right? So, all I can do is to train them a simple tricks. I know that the important is their discipline. Argh! I know it's hard and I need to have much time with them.
Well, thank you! :) keep safe :)

I have had dog pets a lot of time and I have not given him much training. But guess what when I say up, he used to put the front legs on me and stand. and when I used to say Lucky up pointing at the bench, he will jump on the bench.
I used to throw ball and he used to get it back. Even if I threw a stone, he would bring the same one back. And about shake hand, he knew to give the right hand. I think all this he learnt because I used to do all this with him everyday. One you take out time and teach anything everyday, they will learn.
I have seen dogs holding news papers while the owner is having early morning walk. it there you go again. if done everyday, they become habituated to it. thanks for sharing. have a wonderful day.
