Cats are amazing!

I agree with you cats are amazing creatures! I found Tom 3 days before Christmas 2 years ago and I have to say he is my companion and joy...he is naughty and cheeky but I like that! he has his special quilt on my bed so he won't put hair on my quilt because I Am allergic to cat hair!

Hello Phenixtail. I like your title. I'm basically new to cats after having become reacquainted with them in February of 2011. We had a cat when I was young and here in the hood, there was a White lady whose cats would come across through the alley and be fed by my grandmother. We also had a black cat. When I moved here I discovered the lady downstairs feeding them. I've started feeding them after being afraid that this one kitten (that I named Elfego) would starve because the father in the clan apparently wasn't Elfego's father. I started taking Elfego inside to feed it. A little over two months ago, the mother cat had two more orange kittens. One day, the little orange fur ball was at the top of my steps. A week later, it was hiding between the screen and back doors. Now, like its sibbling, it has grown some and runs like the devil. Most recently, Mom cat has had three more kittens and one fur ball found its way up the steps. I like how they try to hide. I bought Elfgo a house and left it outside. The little fur ball heard me open the door and wobbled into Elfego's house to hide. I have taken film and pictures of all of them which I put on my Facebook Cat Family page and also on YouTube. They indeed, are amazing!

I bear right now on both arms bites from one of my cats. I don't really blame him for biting me, even though the bites hurt. He was afraid and the previous owner had him declawed so his teeth are his only defense. However, my roommate has some scratches on her arm from a different cat, and in that case, it was yet another cat's fault for getting in her face when she was already upset.
