what site is that? ^^ anyway for you to comment on a music site you should try to search about music. its important that you talk about the instruments that you hear the person or group playing. you can say like: the guitar sound is very powerful and gives the song a special meaning. a comment like this would be good i guess. but try to say more things. talk about the instruments, what the sound shows to those who hear the song. those things^^

At the moment I am going through it myself. I was doing pretty well with a site until some requester forgot to rate me.Although I got paid, I lost 15 stars. I made a representation but to no avail. It is over 3 weeks now and each time I pick up a topic and start writing on it my thoughts do not flow. Also during this so called 'sabbatical' I went through some profiles where each and every article written by them has been given 5-star ratings. Not a single article has been rejected nor rated lower. This has put me off as it is impossible for anyone to have over 400 articles written and all of them getting 5 star ratings. It is obvious, this site seems to be terribly biased.

I have writer's block at the moment. I haven't written poems for a long time and I haven't been able to finish my short stories either. There are two things that I am trying to do because they worked in the past. First of all I try to write as much as I can. If I can't continue my story I write other things like posts on discussion forums and I hope that it will help me get rid of my writer's block. I have also used another technique in the past. When I use this technique I simply write anything on my mind, I don't think about spelling and grammar or anything like that I simply write whatever I think. If those techniques fail I try to leave the place where I usually write and write outside my home (in a coffeeshop, in a park etc) Sometimes that helps me.

Pick a word in a dictionary. Any word at all will do. Then try to work around that word as if your sentence makes sense. Try a couple more words and do the whole thing again. My old writing teacher had us do those exercises. She called it word calisthenics. Apparently they makes our minds wander and relax a bit. Stringing two words together is really hard when you have a writer's block. But stringing words together when you don't have to make sense and follow the rules makes that blank page less ominous. My way though? Find something else to do. Call it creative procrastination.

Oh I am not on writers block. I understand how you feel. I suggestion to you is write whatever comes to your mind. Free your mind from any disturbance and start thinking, you will get to the point. have a wonderful day.

Usually when this happens it has taken me months to get over it. Of course the harder I try to find ways to relax and forget about the project the harder it is for me to do! Unfortunately, I write horror short stories for a monthly magazine, and full length novels and spending months trying to get over writers block impacts every aspect of my life, emotionally to financially. However, I came across an odd way to get over it much faster these days. I noticed that if I watch the news and allow myself to get angry or sad or whatever emotion the news stories evoke, and verbally express it, I can sit down a few hours later and start writing again. Writers block for me is caused mainly due to stress and pent up emotions, if I let it out, writing becomes much easier again.

I think stress has a lot to do with my writers block as well.

I know how you feel. It's really not easy to have that. Usually, what I do is go out and relax. I find that I can write again especially when I spot something that I haven't noticed before. It brings you new inspiration. It refreshes your mind. Try to do new things.
