In our life, there are really times that we get hurt and we can't prevent that to happen, because I have a friend who was broken hearted and now he can't eat he gets sick and worst he's always absent. We gave him advise but he dosen't seem to care. So I said to him that we always get hurt but it's our choice if we become miserable!

This is about the only thing we do have a choice of. How we react to life. Through human studies we have learned that whatever action we take is of some benefit to us. It may be a negative reaction that gains us a lot of attention, we would not get otherwise. The problem is that sometimes the benefit we get is buried so deeply in our minds that all we feel consciously is the pain. If we could be truly honest with ourselves we would also recognize the beneifit of the attention it brings us. Each human being is a very complex person and it takes
a specially intuitive person to understand some of the reasons we do things to ourselves.
