There are some people who are truly inspirational, they are capable of doing funny stuff in-spite of all the hardship they've experience from floods. So cool, I don;t know if I were in there situation I could make the same foolish act just to make life easier to handle.

yes that's true they keep on smiling even though their heart is aching, read their mind, hear their sobbing heart, see the swimming pool around them, they make it fun. one of the reason they make others smile, laugh, have a fun time in spite of everything. The elders boost their siblings that no matter what they are strong firm and can stand still... Long live people..simple funny acts which lighten other loads.

Some of those that you've shared in your collage are very funny, I especially like the young lady that is sitting on the rock with the mermaid tail on. Now we don't typically experience a lot of flooding around here, but there are times that the creeks and such will flood and there have been some times that the creek that is near my mother's house will flood through yards and will flood the street. Well, the last time that this happened, we were out looking at the flooding and we saw that some people on that street had pulled out their canoe and were canoeing down the street.

Upside of everything in life..and in a bad situation as a flood is when people pull together..but it shouldn't take just a bad situation to pull each other together-friends and neighbors and community should pull together through thick and thin.

We filipinos are naturally fun loving. We love to make stuffs that looks silly for us to be okey inspite of all the saddest times of our life. We like to make other feel that we are okey and that problem seems not that hard as long as we know how to laugh.

Well, as what most people will say, if we cry, nothing's gonna happen. If we smile, we feel better and we will have less wrinkles. They're right, feeling bad and down over the whole thing will not solve anything. So choose to be happy instead, be thankful that what got damaged are very replaceable. If they survived the calamity with no lives loss then that in itself is already a blessing. We all feel for them, but then it's time to get back on our feet and re-build. ANd hopefully all of us, especially the government had learned enough and do something about this.

It is called human's defense mechanism. Even if we are on a very dangerous situation, we still do silly or funny stuff to make the situation lighter because if we don't, we'll just aggravate our feelings of being scared or angry, thus making everything so bad which we don't want it to happen. It makes us stronger thinking that the bad situation we are at is something we can conquer and will not affect us totally. Also, with the help of others and how they perceive us makes it easier for us.
