Three or four hours of sleep! Doing that might save time, but i don't think most people could cooperate very efficiently that way. I have tried to get by with less sleep, many times, but i always feel tired and irritable, and would have to take a nap at work just to get me through the day. So now i make it a rule to get at least six hours of sleep, no matter what, and most nights i get seven or eight. So these days i feel refreshed and energetic, and i get a lot more done.

I sleep seven hours or more every day. I even take a nap after lunch each day. So I am full of energy every day. Sleeping enough is really good for your health.

I usually get about 7 hours sleep and then take a nap also. The only difference is, I am still tired all day. Until it is time for bed and then sometimes I can't fall asleep!

I do not feel comfortable as well having an exhausted day with a 3-4 hours of sleep. Its like im a zombie or something. I would just walk around but my mind would not be inplace. Like somewhat walking in clouds without a dream. Plus my eyes will look so teary, and i simply get irritated. Not having a good mood at all.

Our body needs rest we should not abuse it.. With 3-4 hours of sleep is definitely abusing our body and will effect body system failure sooner or later... Our body is a gift, it is precious, we must take good care of it...

I recently have not got a lot of sleep lately about 4 hours average, cause of projects that I can't finish. But at school I sometimes stay wide awake the whole day, but I mostly take small naps during breaks about 10 mins, and I tell my classmates to just wake me up so I don't oversleep. those 10 minutes nap really do help a a lot. I rarely drink coffee, I only do so in urgent situations in which I only had an hour sleep or so. 3 to 4 hours a day should be enough for some kinds of people including me.

Naps are really very important....this is why we call it power nap because it surely will energized us and make us active after we have it. But I don't really do have these since if I do sleep I tend to have more like an hour or so which is not a nap anymore.. so I just better sleep than these one.
Coffee do helps me a lot to keep me wide awake and I just couldn't help myself from having no sleep at all. It will surely make me feel terrible.
And I do salute you for being dedicated.
Happy mylotting....

It's different strokes for different folks. I get about 6 hours sleep but I also get an afternoon nap.
The thing is, our bodies need to get about 7 - 8 hours each night, minimum. I also learned recently that you cannot catch up on sleep you missed out on.
It's interesting that now you are sleeping more you are feeling much better and getting more done. It has to be healthy for your body.

No, not really. However, I'd rather get a straight 4 hours of sleep (and when I say straight, I mean undisturbed), than what I've been getting lately, which although I haven't added it up is probably around 4 or 5 hours of sleep. The only problem is it's disturbed sleep. My oldest and very much autistic son tends to wake me up every hour or so. By the time he's ready to lay down it's time for me to get up and get ready for work. Needless to say, I'm worn out before my day even begins. It's a wonder I can even function at all.
If I had it my way I'd love to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night. But with the way things are now it ain't gonna happen.
Happy mylotting!

In the past I was able to get by on very little sleep. I would go to bed at midnight or later and wake up at five or six o'clock in the morning and be find all day long. Now I am unable to do that. I have nine month old twins that have terrible sleep schedules. I am up right now at 4:15 am with one of them. I hardly ever get any sleep anymore. It is really making me feel much older.

We are all humans. Being human we need at least 6 hours of sleep a day or for some they need 7 to 8 hours of sleep a day. There are 24 hours a day, no more no less and as such one-third of a day is meant for work and one-third for enjoyment with the balance of one-third of the day for rest, that is sleep. This is we we are created for. Beautifully apportioned 8 hours each. If you can get by three or four hours of sleep a day you might face serious repercussions later in life.Health problems in the form of high blood pressure or psychosomatic diseases. Seriously, you better stop it. Do not tamper with what God gives you- a healthy body and mind.

There are times that I will go through a day on just a few hours of sleep. However, I don't believe that this is something that I am able to do on a regular basis. The reason that I can't do this on a regular basis is because of the fact that I start to feel very run down when I am not getting enough sleep. I find that I am able to function a lot more effectively when I am getting between 7.5 and 9 hours of sleep every night.

Hello, Sound and enough sleep is must for health. Sleep repairs our damages tissue. For average person 6 to 7 hours sound sleep is must. But it may be vary from person to person. Kids generaly spend 10 hours in sleep. Old age person wants less sleep. # to 4 hours is not enough.

Three or four hours of sleep is really not good for our health.A minimum of eight hours is needed for everyone I believe. In the end,if our health is not good enough then we won't be able to do the things we want to do hehe.

I sleep usually around 5 hours and this started back in my 20.. It was a very hot summer and we were sleeping in a caravan, which wasn't very comfortable. I stayed awake for many nights and worried a lot about it. Then I thought to myself - why am I worried about it? I will sleep eventually. and then I slept but only about 2 hours. And from that time onwards, I have just accepted that I don't need the 8 hours sleep that they say I should have. _Derek

It is hard for me to sleep and sometimes get maybe 2 hours of sleep. I got a new mattriss and hopeing that would help and change a few things..I feel tired but still cannot sleep sometimes.. I do feel good when up and about but gets to me when I lose sleep and the day is rainy and dragging along..I would like to sleep at least 7 or 8 hours..truth is I do not remember when I have done that in a long time..I know I would feel much better ..

I could not function on 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I definitely need at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep every night. I have to be in my right mind to take care of the kids all day and night long...
