I am into a new place. My college!! I had heard from all my seniors and elders that college life is all fun. But it hasn't turned up the way I has hoped. My college is one of the finest in the country providing us with every facilities, but still I feel something is missing. They are nothing but my friends. My old friends. Though I stay calm excusing myself that I will get new friends here too but I do not know why my heart doesn't seems to agree this. I enjoyed even the most worst hospitality when my friends used to be alongside me. But now even the best ones are not appreciated with true heart. I am just not able to accept the fact that I may happen to make better friends here. I wish my old buddies were here. They knew me so well. Unspoken words were exchanged without hints..the time I really miss..

I can understand the feeling. Still, keep in mind that getting new friends and keeping old ones isn't mutually exclusive- Yes, you can make friends in the new place that may very well grow as close as your old ones, but that doesn't mean you have to fall out of contact with your old ones. It might be a little harder to stay in contact, you might have to resort to online communication most of the time with perhaps the occasional meetup... But if you're as close as you sound, it seems to me like it would be worth it.

I am pretty much sure that my old friends will have their space in my life as it is,though on a pessimistic note I do believe that feelings fade as time passes by..I haven't made the same friends and it is not worrying me at all keeping in mind that I an new. I am just missing them and missing the moments I would have enjoyed if they were here.

I understand. When you do meet up, you're going to have to make up for lost time- And if you think feelings might fade over time, make sure they don't! I haven't had any contact save for the occasional SMS with one of my best friends now, and whenever I meet with them it's like nothing's changed- We're as close as ever. So don't worry. :)

Good day!
I am first year college too, At first I don't think It was fun and interesting but now after few month I realize that it is more fun than high school days aside of a lot of friends you will meet in college you will not notice that your profession is now waiting although I still missing my high school friends.
