The Indian T20 squad for New Zealand & WCT20 series and the Test squad for NZ series announced.
Yuvraj has been included in the T20 squad after his recovery from cancer.
Harbhjan, Chawla, Balaji, Irfan and Dinda are also included in the squad.
Pujara, Rahane,Yadav, Chawla has been included for Test squad.
Irfan has not been included for the test squad, and Rohit has been included in the T20 squad.

First and foremost it is welcome back for Yuvraj. Good to see him make it back to the team for the T20 World Cup. Bhajji inclusion is a bit of a surprise for me seeing how well Ashwin is developing, but Ojha's injury might be the reason. As far as the test squad is concerned good to see Pujara and Rahane in the squad. Also there were doubts about Laxman, though he retains his place.

Yes, this will be a huge welcome for him. Its good that he will get 2 matches vs NZ before WC. And Bajji had been dropped for some time, now he is given chance in T20, if he performs well, then he can make comeback to other format also.
But Ojha was included for test team...
Pujara and Rahane got a very good chance to show their shills, the matches are in India, so they can utilize the chance well.
Laxman was senior player and he was not retired, so he should be given chance...

Yes laxman is a senior player so he will surely get chance. But if he dont play well he will be dropped at some stage. I dont think rahane will get c chance, because we already have two good openers. Poojara may get a chance. And there is a tight competition going between our spin bowlers to grab a permanent spot in the team. So whatever be the format, all three chawla, baji and ojha will be really tested in coming matches.

The good news is yuvraj's inclusion. It was the everyone was keenly waiting to happen. Hope that yuvraj will make a good come back. It is good that he is making the come back in t20 format, so his stamina will not be tested match. So he can slowly adjust to international cricket and will make his come back in odi and test. I wish all the very best for his come back. And irfan should have got place in test squad. And we have to watch out how for the performance of harbajan. Poojara should get chance to play in test.rohit, at least he should play well in t20.

Yeah, its good to see Yuvi back on field, and its very good that he is just starting with T20s.
Irfan was doing well in last series and he eventually got selected to the squad, also dinda. And an all rounder like Irfan will be always beneficial for T20 game.
This will be last chance to Rohit to stay in International cricket, if he is not making use of this the he will be dropped.
Poojara have got a very good chance, if he do well, then he can almost sure his place in the team.

The squad selection looks good. However, why are they not trying Laxmipathy Balaji in tests. Are they first testing him in the shorter version first?

It is indeed a great news. Yuvi and Bhaji is back in the team. I hope India do well in the tournament. But I was a little disappointed that Rahul Sharma was not included in the T20 squad 
.

It's really nice to see Yuvraj Singh back in the side. I wish him good like, hope he makes a good come back. It would have been good if they would have included Irfan Pathan in Test team as well. I am not very sure how good will Harbhajan inclusion in the T20 team will be for the Indian side.

Ya, its good to see Yuvi back on team and Pathan should have included in the Test Team, he was doing well in ODI and T20 recently.
And for Harbhajan, a chance was given, he is the senior and most experienced spinner in Indian team, so its good if he is back to form and performs well.

Yes, it is the best opportunity for Bhaji and Yuvi. I hope Bhaji perform well. He has much experience with the Sri Lankan pitches that really favor spin bowling. We all still remember the performance of Bhaji when India won the first t20 world cup. All the best for Bhaji!

Ya lets hope that Bhajji returns to form, after his recent failure this will be good opportunity to make his place in the team and if he looses it then probably he will gone long unless or until the regular bowlers are ill he is not going to get an opportunity to play.
His performance in the recent past has been worst including the IPL. In IPL 2012 Harbhajan Singh played 17 matches and took 6 wickets only where as he con-sided 384 runs.

As per my opinion T20 team is the best and they have ability to win one more world cup for India..!Selection of Yuvraj singh is very inspirable for all sportsman and also for human being. To come from cancer and again play cricket is not easy for all. Salute to Yuvraj for his willing power and positive mental attitude.
For test team: selection of Pujara is also i like as he is very versatile cricketer, consistently performed in domestic cricket. One or two chance he got for playing international test cricket but some how did not perform well at that time. At present he has golden chance to anchor himself in Indian test squad for long time as Dravid Already retired and Laxman is also now on the edge of retirement.

Yuvi made great come back from Cancer, and he made the came back to the squad in a little time. He really fought well against the disease.
Its very inspiring that he have selected to the squad.
Hope he will do his best in the T20 and will soon make come back to ODI and test.
Yes, Pujara got a golden chance, if he performs well, then he can sure his place in the teas. As you mentioned , Laxman may retire soon, then India need a middle order batsmen.
