Doc Hollywood v Cars

So call me synical, and I know there are only so many possible stories, but do you not think that a large chunk of the basic story line in Cars is the same as Doc Hollywood ? I mean I know the subject matter is different, but essentially hot shot get stuck in hill billy backwater, gets given community service, falls in love, trys to continue with 'Plan A' going to big city and ends up coming back the the little village for love. I bet theres a load of other films with essentially the same plot that I can't think of right now.
