Craft Wars

I was so excited with the new competition show Craft Wars. I enjoy watching it but I think it could use a few tweaks. Tori Spelling may be crafty but in my opinion does not make a good host. She seems like she tries to be personal to hard and it comes off fake. I think they should show more actual craft making. When they finally show their finished projects to the judges, we see things that we never saw the contestants doing. Other than that, I think it's great. Themes and must use supplies, awesome.I also like the little tips they throw in from time to time. And what I wouldn't give to have a Micheal's craft closet in my house instead of storing everything in plastic totes. Draftees, if you haven't seen it, give it a try, I think you'll like it.

Thank you! Finally someone who likes Craft Wars. I love this show. I am so glad I gave it a try. I was thinking Tori Spelling would just annoy me. She doesn't. Although the male judge and the brown haired woman judge are sometimes obnoxious I think. What I like best is that they usually pick the same person to win as I would have picked myself. Now, the first small craft, sometimes they send home a person I liked. But when it comes down to the final craft they always seem to pick the same person I would. I think it's a fun show.

She does annoy me! She is totally scripted and no personality.

I watched the first two, but didn't care to much for it. Now it is on at 10pm and I usually fall asleep by then! But I think it is far to much out of this world rhlem. I mean...is there any craft that you saw that you would do or plan to make? The projects are so "out there" and the time frame is so short, I just get exhausted watching it...so much to do, so little time and although they have tons of supplies...none of it is very practical for viewers to use or make. The one where they made a tote bag out of sport equipment.. would you really do that? I wouldn't. And what they made was ridiculous...ballet slippers for pockets? NOt big enough to hold anything. I just like to watch these kinds of shows if it is something I can learn or do. I watch the cooking shows, but have never made a single dish...but I still enjoy watching as they are "possible" for me to do if I want to, but Craft Wars...it is so "out there" and unobtainable...not to mention I don't learn to do anything! I'd say it'd be better if they give them the project, but only certain supplies...like on the cooking shows they give 3 required ingredients to make a cupcake....Something like that.
