I know this question has been asked on every site I can think of. I have been writing for over 2 years online and get paid very little for the work I do. It doesn't seem to even be worth the effort. Many people keep saying just keep writing more articles and it will pay off. But the truth is the more I write the more views I get the less the sites pay for the views. So what is the answer to writing and getting paid for it? Is their really any money out their or is it just a waste of time trying?

Hi, I write there to but the money hasn't been coming in there like people told me it would. I have almost 60 articles there and I still haven't reached the $5 payout. The views there have taken a serious nose dive in the past couple of weeks. My views went from almost 200 a day to about 60 a day now.

Thanks, I do have a Twitter account and use it. Before I got my account my wife was using her's to tweet articles. It helps a little but not much. People have to want to take the time to actually answer the tweets. I post articles all the time and get very few tweets in return.

I haven't tried it but you might be interested in something else. It's called italki. They use professional teachers and also what they call Community Tutors. I don't know if this would be right for you or not. It's teaching a language to someone for $ online. www.italki.com It might be worth looking into. If you don't have a teaching degree the Comm. Tutors might be something you could do. I guess it can't hurt to check it out. You can teach any language. There's a big demand for English. Right now a lot of teachers are probably working for them 'cause it's summer, but when school starts.....

I've been writing for those for awhile off and on. They to are having trouble trying to keep up with payouts. Helium has recently been purchased by another company and they are making changes. They were paying $3 to $5 dollars an article when I started. Now they are down to $1 an article upfront, if your article is chosen to be paid.

Never go to sites that depend on views for your earnings. When I was new I did that and burnt my fingers. It looked so hypocritical to me and also an obligation for friends to view articles. But hope is not lost. There is Iwriter where you earn for your efforts. Those who have time and can grab the projects can earn as much as to 3000 to 4000 dollars a month. You have to be good with your grammar and follow instructions to the 't'

Thanks, this site looks like it might have some potential to it. The only thing that I see as a drawback is the 3 hours to write the article. I think for some of the articles that might be cutting the time short. I know it is to get the work done and back to the people who want it. But I'm use to having more time then that to research the information.

But it is not at all easy to have high page rank for our website or blog. If we continuously try to achieve that, then we can achieve that. But it will take some time. In addition we should also have quality articles in our blog or website. Moreover the articles should attract a vast range of readers.

I've tried that before as well and had very little luck. It required more money to be put into the site to get the ranking. The money that ended up coming in went back out to companies to help improve ranking scores. Then purchasing the site and paying the monthly hosting fees. Not to mention the domain name fees and the setup fees. That's why I went to writing instead it seemed like a less complicated process.

Why can't you try working in sites which pay upfront fees for writing articles? If you write in these sites then you need not get more page views to get more amount. You get the amount according to the quantity and quality of your article. I am now working in an article writing site which pays upfront fees. Within two months of time I was paid 66$ from that site.

I have written for a couple of sites that pay upfront for articles. But there are only a few sites that pay that way anymore. Most of the sites are like all the rest they have no money to pay anyone upfront. The sites that I was writing for made you compete with other writers to get paid. If they didn't like the article you didn't get paid. They would still publish your article but only for view payment. The other thing about those sites is they all dropped their prices of how much they would pay.

I write for at least three online sites but I get to spend time doing it only after my regular work. So pay is really very minimal. If I find more time to undertake research and accept more projects, I earn a little bit more.

I appreciate the advice and thanks. That sounds like a good way to find jobs, but from what I hear is that the competition is fairly high. That means a lot of the time you would not get paid for your work there either. You would write the article or material and the requesting party can refuse it. Then you are stuck with an article that can only be posted for views again.

I'm earning my online money by writing online. I write for two sites and I'm doing pretty good. I don't know what you mean by you get paid very "little", how much is little for you? I mean what is little for you may be a lot for me. Can you be specific?
