"Man, this song sounds so different without the sound of the characters' voices or of shots being fired."
When I listen to tracks from danmaku games, sometimes it even feels like I can hear the sound of phantom bullets even though I know the sound isn't really included in the track.
I bet one day, they'll include a joke track with the sounds actually mixed into the track itself. And that would be awesome.
Y'all experience this too?

I just bought the Soundtrack of Mafia 2 and when I hear a certain song I will think about the moments I had when I heard the song in Mafia 2. Some songs are sad, because a character die or something terrible happen, but sometimes the song is nice and bring back good memories to a certain character. I also have this with Fallout 3 soundtrack. When I listen to this I close my eyes and fantasize the Fallout 3 world in my head and walk through it.

Same with me (but with songs from different games). That's part of why soundtracks are so awesome. Not only do they have to fit the scene when it plays during gameplay, it can also make you recall the best parts of the game. And when you hear the song again years later, it can bring back memories. :3
