Does long distance relationship still works?

A friend of mine just got her visa & 2 days from now she is
leaving.Just yesterday we give her a goodbye party.I noticed
her bf is just quiet & I assume his sad about it.It seems that
his worried of a lot of things.

It is certainly not easy for lovers to be separated. Her boyfriend SHOULD be sad - that is natural and logical. But if the separation is for the long term good of them, then the separation has to be taken as a temporary measure. They will become better when this test is over. The strength of their love for each other and the trust and understanding for each other could carry them through.
