Hi all,
As I'm a new user of myLot, I have give many friend request to many. But I find very few people accepting the request. I thing many of the request sent to inactive users here! How can we identify active and inactive users in myLot? Any idea?

I think you meant offline users. Inactive user is one, whose account is no longer in existence. You cannot view such profiles. Let the offline users come online, then they'll be able to add you. Welcome to myLot. If you are still on your friends making spree, don't forget to send me a request as well. Haha. Good luck!

Moulee, I've observed that you already have an impressive number of friends. After 24 hours, I can't imagine the count. Good luck. Btw, I approved your request.
Sid, by inactive I meant to say banned users. Anyways, myLot removes the account of an user who hasn't been active for 3 months.

Whoa! You only joined 7 hours ago and half of the world was sleeping then
Give evryone that you requested the time to wake up, grab breakfast and get back on here and youmight see some more of those requests being accepted.
As the response above suggested, in each profile you can see on the left when a user last logged in. Bear in mind too that in some countries it is mid-summer and vacation time and some Lotters might be basking in the sun with no internet access so don't give up on everyone yet

24 hours is a good start but some might have left for their annual vacation and might not return for a week or even more. I'm sure you will have enough to deal with even if you let them hang on in there pending for quite a longer time as I can see from your profile that MANY have accepted so you are going to be inundated with topics to participate in

And why exactly would you request the friendship of members that you have never even interacted with?? A lot of members won't accept the friendship request of a member who comes on here and just randomly requests friendships. Why? Because all too often, the reason for that is to spam us with referral links etc. The way to get people here to accept your friend requests would be to actually be a friend. Join in some discussions and get to know some of the members.

If that is the case then that is cool. I may have got confused when he/she said that they sent requests to "inactive" members. I thought that he/she was just randomly sending out invites. If that is the case, then I apologize. It's probably just in the timing like you said and the world was sleeping.

Hello Moulee,
It depends on person to person some people don't accept it easily they see the profile of the user first before accepting it as they fear that the user may not spam after being a friend through PM.And some people accept it easily as they know they always can delete them once they start spamming them. Moreover it may have happened that when you sent FR to a particular user he/she may not be active that time.

I usually only accept friends that have a number over 10 by their name. Only because I have been spammed by people with a lower number so many times! Once people reach the number 10 I will accept them. =)

Some may not have yet receive your friend request due to less than normal activity as members, they just log in once a week or twice a month. Other may not like to be friend with a newbie who is just join mylot for several hours only, it is solely a personal choice for one to decide whether he/she want your friendship or not, it is nothing personal and you shouldn't take it too serious and feel disappointed at all. I am the few in here will normally accept friendship request from newbie without condition, i just don't see why not? After all, not all newbies are rude in presenting their old idea, thought and personal view, i have nothing against them, after all, all they're trying to do is asking for a friendship, not to attack me in person. Usually those that are inactive have no posting in the passed 10 days or 30 days shown up in his/her profile page, whichever you think is appropriate. Just my personal two cents for your information.

Hi Lampar!
I can understand that people who have 1000 points have more rules to accept a new friend request! But on the other have got people like Diana who have accepted my friendship very soon. Though I have not even completed 1 complete day here, I appreciate their care to bring up a newbie in myLot! That the nature of professional lotters (more than 10000 points).

hey Moulee , till now I haven't accepted your request coz' when I first saw your profile after seeing your request , I could see within 3 hours you had 32 friends in your list and not even a single response from you nor you had not started any discussion. It definitely makes all to think that you are here for some other reason.I only accept requests of those who really participate in the discussions...sorry to say that..

First and foremost welcome. I have accepted ur friend request. There are four more friends out there. I didnt accept them because once I press accept, myLot does something funny and forces me to leave it the site. lol
You just got lucky to be first. I will accept them one by one. :) I never refuse friendship request. God knows how short we are of that.

I don't have anywhere near one hundred friends and have been here nearly a year now. I actually send out very few friend requests - only those who repeatedly respond to my comments and discussions. On the other hand, I have gotten many - and I always check them out before accepting. There were an occasional few who "spammed" me for friendship, and I refuse to be one of hundreds just so someone can pitch something to me.

I probably have my "10" star simply because I only respond to discussions where I feel I can contribute something! Friendship is nice, but I don't beat myself over the head begging or waiting for it.

hi moulee,
when i see a new friendship request immediately i will accept it, i do not even check the profile also, since long time i am not seeing any profiles, but some times i will see the profiles after some days, now i have more than 700 friends in this site, if you do not get approved your request for long time, then think that they are inactive,it is better to send request for friends who are active and whose discussions or responses are in mylot, have a nice day

Hello my friend moulee87 Ji,
Please do not get diosheartened so early. There are memebers who would like to filter out at micro-level and then accede to your request, unlike me, who immediately response. Please do one thing, go to Discussion (today's top) and you will find many discussions, they are all active and you may choose few of them, at randum or by your choice. In my case I never go through anyone's profile, only that I discoiurage e-earning. I am here to pass my time and enjoy International community. All the best for myLotting.
May God bless You and have a great time

Hi!
Its not like disheartened! Some myLot users are very strict I think! They notice the people particularly newbies and then they accept their friend request! I think it also pays you good as it will avoid spams! Let me wait and see how many accepts my request!

Oh, I think that's so easy. When you see a myLotter let's check their profile. If they do something on myLot ( response, start discussions,...) nearly, they are active, and vice versa. Let's check the peoples that you sent request to, and you will see. I am a newbie in myLot too. This site is not easy to earn money. You should use this site like a social network. And you will find very interested. Have a good day!

Hello and welcome to myLot. Maybe you can tell if a member here is active based on the number of his/her post but it is not that accurate since we never know whether that account become active again or will be inactive in the future. Another way is that, you can look at the discussion's made and look for members who comment. Anyway, welcome again and try to be active here.

I have been here for 2 days, and I haven't sent any friend requests yet. But I do always accept the friend requests which were sent to me. I'm not always online, but when I'm online I will check if there any friend requests or comments . My discussion hadn't been commented by anyone for 5 hours, then I went to sleep. Then this morning I saw some comments , replies, and friend requests.
So I think the late responses is because of we have different time at our own place to the others. When the night comes and I sleep, the rest of the world are about the dawn - time for people start doing they activity.
anyway, thanks for the friend request you sent to me :)
