Why are you just crazy about your country?
I am an Indian and I feel proud to be born an Indian.I love India not only for the sake of being born here...but for the rich tradition and heritage we have it here.Even now we respect our elders and follow the rich tradition in these days of modernization.
What makes you feel proud to be born in your country?

Hi krupesh? How r u doing? :)
I feel proud of my country because it is so noisy..lol
And people are happy with what little they have..at least they pretend to be. :)
Seriously..I have to know another country as much as I know mine to keep it on comparison platform. :)
I dont think I am feeling very proud to be an Indian as of now, except for the fact that while Pakistani Hindus are returning to India, Indian Muslims are not very keen to leave all behind for going into Pakistan.
That to me speaks volumes..volumes of human tolerance. :)

As far as I know this is not the pilgrimage (yatra) season. Rains create landslides and flash floods in rivers that are considered holy. While the months are auspicious ..it is actually the sowing season..so people didnt really move out much in these months but celebrated functions because of mercies from raingods. Primarily relief from oppressive heat. Logical explanations for what is in Hinduism yatras?

Close family ties and what we locally refer to as the "bayanihan" custom. I'm from the Philippines and love and support for every member of the family is already a deep rooted tradition among us that a problem or victory of one is shared by every member of the family. Bayanihan is generally observed in calamities (just like the recent flooding) or unfortunate events where people help one another or quick to extend assistance to those in distress voluntarily without need of prodding.

i think some of us really got crazy staying in our own country not only because we were born in that country. Because we have that prestigious cultural and native things or lot of delicacies in our own county and be more proud. .Me? Im from Philippines although there always a political issues and almost always hitting by a calamity its the negative sides. but the fact is if there is negative there is always positive which make me crazy about my country not totally crazy but i love my country of course! We had 7000 islands which really attract tourist. almost every year many tourist coming from my country were i belong, that's the essence of positive side. I think each of us must be proud on our own country just what you are saying you love your country and same here which was given by our creator.

I am from Philippines and i am also proud to be a filipino. Our country has been colonized by a lot of countries but our ancestors fight for our freedom. And this story is enough for me to be proud of my country. Not to mention different sceneries and tourist spot that can be visited and the different kinds of foods that is always exported by our country. Sometimes, we tend to hate our country because of the wrong choices or decisions that sometimes affect the economy and the people. But let us think about the bright side like how we get here and how we can be united

I guess that we are all proud of our country, and in my case i would say that im proud coz of the freedom im getting, living cost is more cheaper so even if salary is not that big like those in other rich country. I remember my professor told me of not to compare our salary with other rich country like for example in US and etc as house or apartment rent there already cost a lot than in our country plus the food. As in here normal apartment we can get as cheaper $35 and higher as $140 a month and a condominium rent cost as much as $300-$350 a month as I would say that our life here is just simple and may not be stravagant but we can be happy and have peace in mind in here not to think to much expenses.
I remember one of our client from US told me that shes paying $500 of her apartment and yet she lost her job and she doesn't know where to get money for her apartment as she also need to pay for other expenses and her monthly income decrease to around $2000 a month then i told her if that's my salary in my country every month then i might be rich by now living a fine house and a lot of things around me lol

Well, I'm Indonesian. What i love from Indonesian is our traditional culture still is available, not remove because a lot of modern culture come to Indonesia.
Every country has their own traditional culture, they are unique and sometimes it's not same. Well, same like Indonesia, it's different from another country.
And here's my list what's I love from Indonesia:
For food i'm crazy with rendang roasted chicken - that's Indonesian food from Padang. It's made from chicken with a lot of traditional seasoned, but the taste is great, spicy, and full of seasoned.
For traditional dancing, i love to see Kecak dance or Jaipong dance.that's cool because that's unique..
for fruit, thanks GOD i live in Indonesia, we have a lot of durians, do you like durians? it's delicious but don't eat too much because it has A BIG cholesterol.
for traveling, Indonesia has a lot places. You can choose to beach - there's a lot of beach like Kuta, Anyer, Tidung, Raja Ampat. for Highland i can stay at Dieng Plateau. for shopping a lot of thing i can buy at Jakarta and for traveling underwater, i can go to Raja ampat and Bunaken. and if i want to relax, i can go to Yogyakarta or Bali.
Hmmm, the last one i love in Indonesia is, everybody in here is nice person. They are welcome with everyone. That's why I love Indonesia so much :)

Yes, I am also an Indian .. and I also feel really proud to be in this country. I have stayed both in north India and south India and have really found unity in the diversity. And the each and every fact of the India makes catalyses my pride for India. It is the land where incidents of the mahabharata has taken place. Who will not feel proud to be in the country where Mahatma Gandhi was born and from which side Sachin Tendulkar plays. It is in this country where we can meet and find really diverse people in terms of their religion, language, living style.
In fact, I am called Indian only because I live in India. Hence, it does makes me proud.
