Movies You Thought You Would Have Hated But Found You Liked Or Enjoyed It?

Has anyone here ever seen a trailer or previews for a movie and thought it simply looked like a pretty dumb movie? Maybe one you just don't think you would or could enjoy or like? But then you happen to see it and it turns out you liked it more than you imagined?
This happened to me recently. My six year old niece came for a day and she brought that Three Stooges movie that came out back in April. Truthfully I never had any intention on ever seeing it for just what I was talking about above. But I watched it and I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I had thought I would.
It's not really a great movie or one I imagine generally will really be too remembered in, say, ten years but I did like it and enjoy watching it.
Something similar happened to an old friend once too. He used to tell me how he avoided watching Forrest Gump for years just because he thought it looked stupid. But then he saw it and really liked it.
So what about you?

Well, this happened to me with MIB. I wasn't a fan of MIB series initially, but I was (am) a huge fan of Will Smith. As MIB 3 came out this year, my friends dragged me to go watch the movie.
And guess what? I liked it! I tried watching the prequels but it didn't hold my interest. Also, I'm trying to try Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia out, but for some reason, they fail to hold my interest.

I haven't seen MIB 3 yet but I've seen the first two. I loved the first one but the second one I wasn't as into myself. Sooner or later I want to see the third movie though. I have heard some people say they thought it was better than the second one.

I thought I never would like watching the movie Prestige. I though it was kinda boring and dull. But, it turns out to be a fascinating and captivating film.

I had this same experience. I didnt think that Harry Potter looked like a good movie, so I avoided watching it. Once the movie was playing on tv, there was nothing on and I watched it, and enjoyed it. You cant know if you really like a movie before you actually watch it. Have a great day.
