Sleeping is very important for us to restore our energy! But since past few days when the classes are suspended due to heavy rains, I've not yet follow my bedtime routine which I usually sleep 9pm-5am, But now It's already 3am here and still thinking for some topic to be discuss. Truly Mylot is really addictive, I enjoyed thinking some topics and searching discussion to respond or share experience, suggestion or anything can relate on. My fellow Mylotters I guess this is my goodnight discussion to share! Happy Mylotting! :)

Hi,
You are right. Sleep is very essential for our health. We need 6-7 hours sleep. It is true that we enjoy mylot very much. It's like addiction and any addiction is not fair. We have to control it. It would affect badly to your health. You can do it late night once in a month, but not always.

Gosh you are six hours late going to bed and is our fault too!
You must get back into your routine or school will suffer badly when it starts again. MyLot is fun but it must not take priority

I agree that there is indeed a lot to learn here. It can help widen our knowledge of English and of cultures worldwide - and all while earning too.

Oh mysdianait, you sounds like a mom! Haha -is a joke-. I'm a student too, sometimes I like to spend my time doing extra activities, or doing nothing, maybe staying in front of the computer .I won't like to say that stay logged here would be a waste of t ime because is not true. We could learn a lot by this site.

How many hours of sleep is required depends on individual. Usually it is 8 hours per day. But many are ok with 6 hours sleep too. My husband sleeps only for 5 hours and he is fine with it. He says he is doing this from his childhood. If I scold also he will not listen to me. I read somewhere that India's former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi used to sleep for only 4 hours a day and she was ok with it. But I need at least 7 hours sleep a day. Otherwise I feel very tired next day.

I have insomnia now. Do not be contaminated.
Sleep is enough, because the body is doing a lot of improvement during the hours of sleep a night.

Hi friend, you are right, sleep is must we never skip it, i agree mylot is addictive, but don't give up your sleep for mylotting activities, it will spoil your health, take proper rest to gain energy

I know there are people that don't have completely mind of what they are doing by staying always in the front of a computer all the day and never sleep ... I sleep 10 hours in the night and 4 in the evening and then go out with friends!

Sleep is very important for the eyes and for the health. Lack of sleep brings lot of problems in the body. and then you have to run to the doctors where you have to waste money, therefore it is always good to have a good sleep everyday. The skin also affected with lack of sleep. It results in dark circles as well. A glow comes on the face when you have enough sleep. Even if I sleep late but these days I make sure I have enough sleep. It is 1.30 am here and I am here on mylot. I don't know what time I am going to sleep but I am responding to discussions. I can't think of starting a topic right now..happy mylotting

you're right riyauro! lack of sleep can led to some health problems. Last week, i didn't get enough sleep because we always go out of town. I am thinking to get a lot of sleep this weekend. My face and eyes are swollen because of staying late and having a lack of sleep.
Hoping i can get some very very good sleep. :)

Hello there. Wow, you really slept late when you typed this discussion compared to your regular sleeping time which is 9pm. I can't blame you because I also think myLot is addictive. You want to have a lot of time to start some discussions and respond to some other interesting ones. You should stick to your bedtime routine already because I think the weather is not that bad compared to last week. You're still studying so you need to sleep so you won't feel sleepy or worn out during your class.
Anyway, that also happens to me at times. Breaking my sleeping routine because of doing some things in the computer. Though before, I slept so late because of playing some games in Facebook and in uploading some pictures. I usually sleep late on the weekends. Before, I even slept at 5am because of surfing the internet. I haven't tried staying up so late doing myLot but I think, if I would have enough time to use the computer this following weekends, I would like to. Though, I don't like to sleep as late as 5 am, like I did before. That time, my sister woke me up at 6am because she thought I slept early. I didn't tell her that I slept so late so as a result, I felt so sleepy when we accompanied her while having her driving lessons. I didn't like to sleep inside the car for his driving class teacher might think he is boring while teaching my sister but I didn't help myself. I was able to fall asleep and they though I was hungry or something. I couldn't say I slept so late or else, they wouldn't let me use the computer at night again. Hehe. I'll just contol myself.

With reference to your main topic, it is really a must. Hence, when we sleep, we are recharge. Our energy is restore and our stamina is again in good condition. As our body can function very well due to the proper sleep that we have done. But, what you have said is true, that once you are logged on here you cannot notice the time. For all you know, it is already late at night.

You should practice now to sleep early because you have a school tomorrow. before going to bed make sure your room has a dim light, drink 1 glass of water or milk so you'll become sleepy. Avoid too much noise around you. Dim light, quiet ambiance, clean bed and room. It helps for falling asleep. :)

Sleeping for me is normally not an issue. I can really get 4 hours of sleep and make it through the day. I used to stay up all night and sleep a few hours in the afternoon. I live with a family now that contains a 6 year old and 3 year old. That has completely changed my sleep schedule. While living alone sleeping anytime was possible. Now it's either sleep at night or don't sleep.

Well mate,I guess you already know the benefits of sleeping then why are you not following them yourself?I believe you should get back to your sleeping routine as soon as you can and give priority to the things you know will help you in the future!Good luck!

That's really pretty late. Well I hope you get back to your own sleeping habit. Mylot is highly addictive especially when you're starting out and you see so many interesting topics.
I used to be like that two years ago, but lately the same topics are being brought up and so i got a bit tired of it and took some rest.

You are telling sleeping is a must and are not willing to sleep. may be you slept for an hour or so in the afternoon. Take rest. otherwise the blame will be on us. it is day time for me here in usa. it is fine-saturday afternoon. Even then i slept for an hour and took rest.

Wow, you are completely out of your routine! You have to get back to it. Yes, sleeping is very important, no human or animal for thats sake can go for a few days without sleep.

Sleeping is too important for everyone! You can regain all the energies you lost the previous day and rest your body and your mind a bit! You must sleep at least 8 hours a day and if you can also in the evening before going out!
