How do I get friends on Mylot

So I am new and I have no idea how I can get friends on here. I went to create new friends but I would have to send a message to people that I already know. I'm a little confused can someone help. Thanks!

You can ask people to be your friend. But I would suggest you answer posts and discuss posts from your interests first. I, for one, don`t accept newbies as friends. I want to read what they write for a while before doing it, because being friends is more than just accepting someone you don`t know at all.
