Spider in the ears

This news makes my ears itchy and uncomfortable. In China a woman go to the doctor because she felt itch and discomfort on her ears inthe last few days. So the doctor checked her ears. Guess what, The doctor found a living spider inside her ears and that spider has been living there for 5 days. 
I am never afraid of spiders but this news makes me uncomfortable that I rapidly cleaned my ears with cotton buds even though I just cleaned it yesterday.

This is real scary. Did she go deaf on that ear?
Though this has never happened with me, my wife had something similar - an ant somehow managed to get into her ear when she was a student. It was quite uncomfortable and later when they found out the reason, her parents used some oil or ear drops to get the ant out. She still feels scared and sleeps with her ears covered or puts cotton to close off the ear-holes while sleeping.

I will use earplugs on my sleep later. I cant blame your wife, now its confirmed this actually happens, I am so disturbed. I dont want something living inside my ears.

I have also heard this from another mylotter and from Yahoo.. This story is so weird and makes me want to clean my ears.. I wonder if the spider was capable of doing damage inside her ear. I also wonder if the spider would have drowned if she had taken a bath.. Thanks for sharing this, have a nice day!
