few years ago I watched a documentary about twin sisters who lives in 1 body, The Hensel twins are twin sisters who lives in one body. yes they were 2 heads with one body. After living in obscurity for a longtime and graduating to school, they finally agree to have a TV show documenting their everyday lives. I know some people may say its exploitation of these girls, But they fully agree to show their lives to people now.
this is a documentary about them when they were in Highschool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkKWApOAG2g&feature=related
Bonus question:
If you have a twin that shares your body, who shares your body and you found out that you can survive if you get rid of your twin, will you do it in favor of normal life?

Hi captain
I am happy that the girls got a chance to reveal themselves and moments of the problems and happiness. In fact, I am a believer that this publicity is somehow good. Many a times such twins have more problamatic times - as they arent normal - and society often mistreats abnormals. So in one way, I see it as a positive thing to happen. They also can have an earning and who knows someone might come up with an idea of giving them a job.
As for your bonus question, I dont understand why your bonuses are always tough...
If I had a co-joined twin, I wouldnt have thought of getting separated, though I know living would be much tougher, but we would have had those qualities by birth to live together. As you rightly said on another response above - trying to get separated would be betrayal - kind of murder.(if we both will survive - then we might consider, I would have to consult my twin)

I loved the lines from their mother on the video - neither do I (mom) owe the world anything nor do the girls...
And also, I did watch that they are a little ir might be more - special than I had thought. Thanks to the culture, country and the people who did not dicriminate them.

The girls lives in a small town where everyone knows each other,so their neighbors are so used to them. They were said to have high self esteem and very social, That video is when they were just 16, They now graduated college. They said they did experience discrimination outside their small town.cos people are not used on seeing someone like them

Well knowing what it's like to live as an individual, I would definately want to be seperated from my twin if I was given the choice. However, I do think if you're born this way you wouldn't know the difference and you might not want to lose the connection, to them it might be like losing a part of your heart and soul.

I have seen the documentary of the Hensel twins. I don't know how these conjoined twins can live in the same body? If it had happen to me I would not be able to be conjioned, especially like the way these girls are! I would want to be seperated! Otherwise I would be miserable!
Everytime I have seen these girls,it freaks me out! Yes they live in one body and have two heads. I believe they have seperate hearts and other seperate organs. It is the two heads that really bug me! How can you really have a life if you have to live like they do? I will never understand this!

The left head controls the left arm and leg, The right head controls the right arm and leg. so yeah they dont have the control of the full body. I am sure at first they dont like the situation but it make them closer as sisters. Just imagine if they fight or have an argument. Thy said they have separate lives, They have different friends and personality. I think they have different goals in lives but they have no choice but follow a path were both of them will be happy.

I agree it's not exploitation but for everyone's awareness.
It's good for everyone to see/know and learn that there are people who doesn't look normal but are trying to live a normal life.
Such show can give inspiration to every normal being who lost hope and think that life is unfair.

The girls were well raised by their parents, They have self confidence, They were very social,In fact they have lots of friends. They dont give a damn if they creep out people. Its also inspiring that they get a long well.

One of them is planning to have a boyfriend, I dont know but if one of them marries a man, technically both of them will get married to that guy.

I heard it before. It's really inconvenient for the twins.I think if I were one of the twins, If I have a chance to be normal, I will be eager to accept the chance.

taking the chance though means killing your twin for your own benifit. Its betrayal though.
