Since I don't have my own PC what I usually do is to go over a nearby internet cafe so that I could do my fave things on the net, But what I really hate most is the dumbhead onlookers behind which is really annoying.

I hate those too. I feel like my privacy is being invaded, but I can't do anything about it. Since internet cafes are public places, we should expect nosy company sometimes. So what we could do is avoid viewing embarrassing things and also avoid entering private informations. But maybe you can nicely tell the onlookers to not look.

That's we should also choose the cafe we are going to. We get what we paid for. I too experience this so I go to cafe located at malls which has better facilities and no bystanders.

Yeah I guess they should be shooed away since you deserved the privacy like that. I think it is okay to tell them as politely as you can that you need some space and privacy in what you are doing there. But I guess being in a public place to access the net is really that inconvenient.

I have never been comfortable in an internet cafe. Although I have my own computer, there are times when I am out of town that I have to go to an internet cafe. Thus, I have an idea on how uncomfortable you are now. Hope you have a nice day, anyway. Just ask the d*mbhe*ds to move away.

Hello there. That also happens to me most of the time when I go to some internet cafes. I feel irritated and uncomfortable to do some of the things I suppose to do when there are some people looking at my computer screen. I usually upload some of my pictures when I'm in the computer shop for me to be able to delete some files in my USB flash drive or memory card. I like to review looking at my photos too but I'm a bit shy when I know some people are looking at them. I also browse some photos of my friends but if some people are around, I couldn't see them freely especially if the pictures I'm looking at are my guy friends'. If I want to talk with someone, I couldn't also do it that much because they might read what I would write. I wouldn't be free saying the things I want to say when someone is around. When I'm playing some games, I'm also a bit shy because I might be playing some simple games and they might be playing complicated ones. If I have no choice and I really want to open what I want to browse, I just don't mind about them. I'm paying for using the computer so it's up to them to look at my screen or not. They should also rent some computers so they would be busy doing their own things and not only watching other people's activities. :)

Hi there! For you not to hate, learn to love them. =joke= Anyway, in my case if I saw someone looking on my computer I told them not to.... I paid for it, so with my privacy or else I ask the cafe attendant to do their task.

haha. It has been a while since i have gone to aninternet cafe. We have our own internet connection here at home and t was rather unnecessary especially if i am not printing anything at all. I have not experienced onlookers before though when i was in college. Hehe

Agree. I hate that also ! But what bothers me most are the guys who play computer games in the cafe. They are a lot of group so the tendency is they are doing a lot of noise and shouting bad words as if nobody hears them and as if they already own the cafe. LIke they are free to speak ut as lng as they are not bothering and interrupting others, but sadly they are irritating me

Been on the same spot as you are now. God to know that I had my own internet connection at home now. But before, I use to go to internet cafe too and had to endure the one you had endure today. What was more annoying when toddlers and grade school kids who will literally sit on my side like they wanted to use my laptop. Worst case is that grade school kids would even try to ask any games in my laptop and ask me to play with it. But, I've learned to use a free one by simply going to places where internet is free which many others are using it too. That way no onlookers and I can do my thing there.

hi asia, Well there are internet cafe that doesn't allowed by stander for the protection of their customers. There are also who maintain the silence inside the net cafe so there will be no disturbance to other customers. But it seems you are renting to a net cafe that doesn't implement this kind of rules happy mylotting

Yeah, they are really annoying! Well, you can't help it, the place is a public area and onlookers are always in sight. Also, be wary of them. Some onlookers are the hackers trying to look after your passwords and stuff. So be alert on them. You cannot shoo them away unless the owners drive them out.

I couldn't agree with you more. I have been in that situation many times before. Good thing my mom had come into her senses and bought us a personal computer. There was a time when I was doing my homework in an internet cafe and there was like three to four spectators on my back. I was like "WTH there's nothing interesting on what I am doing so get away from here". It was really annoying since I cannot understand on what I am doing. Another thing that I do not like is when the gamers in the internet cafe are shouting delinquent words at each other.

Been there, done that. And it really is so annoying, especially if they couldn't even seem to keep it down. Despite it being a public place, I think since I am a paying customer, I am entitled to my own space and that also means no oglers from behind or my sides. Sadly, some people just can't take a hint. Hopefully, you'll be able to have your own PC and internet connection. Try to concentrate on what you need to do, block them out so you'll be done in no time.
