It's true that when nature strikes back, its gonna be a disaster......maybe you've heard about the wide flooding here in the Philippines. It started last August 07, 2012 and our town, Laguna is one of the affected areas. Until now, our home is submerged into flood water and instead of the water going down, it still rises because Laguna Lake serve as the "catch bin" of the water coming from other areas. Me and my family still lives in our half-submerged home. Luckily, our rooms are elivated so it served as a 2nd floor and that's where we are staying. But I'm worried because a little more inches and the flood water will level up to the flooring of our 2nd floor. It's very difficult for us especially for me and my kids, me going to work and my kids to school everyday. Later I will post pictures about our condition, I don't have my cp with me which I used to take pictures. I hope it won't rain anymore but sad to say, there is a typhoon coming...

OMG that's so terrible. Where exactly are you in Laguna? I am currently in our house in Laguna as well as of the moment. We have a condo i Manila, and we have a house here in Laguna. Our place is not flooded.

We're here at Marinig, Cabuyao, Laguna. Just meters away at the back of our house is the Laguna Lake that's why we are easily submerged when catastrophe like this strikes. The last one was the typhoon ondoy but this is much worst because it's not even a storm that brought this flooding.

I see. Yeah, I have old classmates living there as well and their house also got flooded. Good thing though it didn't reach the second floor. We're just here in Calamba.

I hope so bhabycatch but it will definitely take months before the flood water subsides. Last typhoon ondoy it took almost 3 months for the water to cease down.
