Does your school offer career counseling and if so do you use it? I am wondering if students believe there is enough quality career counseling services at their school and if so do you take advantage of it. I often hear that even when one has a good degree they cannot find a job. It seems to me that if colleges a promoting a program that should be working with employers to insure their graduates actually can get a good job when they graduate. Your thoughts?

We don't have career counseling before in our school but that should be the main responsibility of a guidance counselor. Students are lucky now because they can just get info from the net. There are websites such as jobsviewpoint.com which is a good guide for those who want to have career in middle east.

The college that I went do did offer career counseling, however I will admit that I did not use it. The reason that I didn't use it was because of the fact that the vast majority of the leads that they had there were for jobs that were in the same city that my college was in and I was not from that city and I really didn't want to live there permanently, despite the fact that I really did like the college that I went to. The offering that I think would be very beneficial would be to have career counseling outreach in cities that are close to where a college is located.
