It is good to note that even though our country suffered much when Habagat hit the Philippines and gave much rain that causes so much flood in almost all provinces of Central Luzon and of NCR.
During the time of calamity, networking sites became a great source of communication and help to all the victims. Thanks to this kind of technology that we have now that we could surely extent our help through networking sites not only us in the Philippines but also foreign countries.

Thata's true my friend. Networking or the internet is a great help to all people who badly needed help.
Now that the Habagat has flooded some places specially Metro Manila , networking was indeed a great help. Not only does it help bring in donations but it enabled relatives to know how their relatives are too in their own places.

The power of the internet can greatly be observed during the hardest time. We can easily connect to our loved ones as long as their is an internet connection in our area in times of calamities and even wars. News spreads faster than fire in the internet and people around the world can easily get news on what is happening in certain areas and parts of the world. Indeed internet is one of the most powerful medium we had today.

Yeah the communications, internet and social networking sites are a great source of information and sharing was really fast. For those that have their powers cutoff but still have signal from their cellphones they were able to send important information via text, call and even sent information via the net as well. This communications tools were of vital importance in delivering timely information about places that were not reachable via physical means.

I agree indeed. When I logged on to facebook, I saw so many people posting for donations and for relief goods. Some were even posting because their family is in need of rescue. It is great that social networking can help us reach out to others who are in need.
