Do you know what is the benefit of solve the resolving discussions?

Resolving a discussion by awarding the Best Response has NO effect on anything. It does not add to earnings, points, numbers, stars or anything else. All it does is make someone happy when they receive it and unclutters your unresolved list.

hi gfanta you do not get any earnings just for having best resop nse. not at all.;All yo u get is a p at on the back.It does mot affect your earnings at all or your reputation. Only rating each post as positive or negative that will affect your reputation and your earnings as admins says our reputations and stars are taken into consideration on the mylot earnings algorithm. So its wise to always try to make quality posts to increase getting pluses from all the other mylotters here.The red and blue stars will get the highest earnings so work to have quality posts always.

I am sure there are many like you here who have wondered this. There are times it is hard to choose a Best response so resolving that discussion might be hard. But even though I am behind when it personally comes to resolving my own discussions I have started, I feel it is important to do. It lets others know how you feel about their response and also shows some insight to your thoughts you might have never considered before.

fantabulus: I understand that there is no penalty for not deciding on best responses. If someone has got a discussion started by him say four years ago also --there is a possibility--no negative points for him. On the other hand if best response is selected, it will motivate our friends who have responded for our discussion and it will be encouragement for them to respond in future discussions. I have 30+ such unresolved discussions. How many do you have madam? Pl decide early and encourage others. But it will be ideal if a deadline period is prescribed --say one month or so and also a rule that if the best response is not selected by the member any one member who has not responded for that discussion can decide. Also there should be a reward for selecting best response and a reward for the person who has posted best response. I know this will not come. it may require a lot of changes to the software and will involve a lot of expertise, expenditure also.

to choose the best answer and vote for your positive discussion has nothing to do with your reputation. just if you have one answer is better for you and get more revenue but it has nothing to do with your reputation. Success here depends on you all the very quality of your answers and discussions! Success!

Hello fanta, No there is no effect on anything if we don't award a best response.It is just a courtesy to award a best one from the responses we get on the discussion.And if you don't select it then too it hardly matters but it is said that we must award it to motivate people to write more quality content.
