Why Does Jock-Mating (Muscle-Heads Wooing Gals-Having Babies) Get All the Press?

At the top of the Yahoo! Buzz-Log today was Giselle B`u`ndchen (I don't know the code for 'umlaut-u' here & -don't have the patience to find out). Giselle & football-star Tom Brady are having another baby I was reminded of Jessica Simpson fawning over Tony Roma (I think that's his last name). More examples of this mode of 'natural selection': a recent showing of that one OUTER LIMITS in which a scientist was not aggressive-enough to win a lovely woman away from his wealthy boss unless he went through gene-therapy that unleashed his baser instincts (and made him TOO aggressive to win her). That & other examples all seem to filter down to The Opera-Phantom's problem: he had spent years refining his music in order to win Christine, only to have her snatched-away by the well-to-do Raul. The conclusion I draw is that--for all the mental evolution humans have developed--we remain selfish animals at-base, befriending- and partnering with-the most-ideal flesh (like a leech does) in order to gain a share in it's bounty. Why does no one want a share of the nerdy bounty?

Hmmm. Good point. I know I would watch it If they want reality TV, you could not get any better than that.

Somebody needs to pitch that to G4, SpikeTV, MTV2 & maybe GSN (on which Jeff Foxworthy is hosting The American Bible Challenge starting this Thursday).
