Mr Pranab Mukherjee is known to be the ‘Chanakya’ of the political world in India. Now he is the President of the country. As a result the political party he belonged to would be missing his service as a ‘crisis manager’. But we, the common Indians, are very happy that we always want to see an important person occupying the post of the President and at least this time after a long gap of many years, the right person has been selected for the right post. Isn’t it?

Yes, I believe that each and everyone would also have the same opinion as both of us have.

I hope the same but this is not the case. Most people in fact hate him due to the reason he is attached with congress becoz of this anna, ramdev etc... without knowing the inside story
they just hear wat out media (especially hindi media) tells them

What's the wrong if he is attached to the Congress party? The most important thing is that he is efficient and may guide the government if required. He would represent India to any foreign country or any international platform much better than anyone else. Last but not the least, as a citizen of India, I would judge any one from my point of view and never by those of Anna or Ramdev.

hi didi,
you may be right or wrong i do not know and i do not have any neither good nor bad impression about Pranab mukherji, but when congress Govt elect Present, they require only rubber stamp not any independent man, according the Govts, the Present works and not his own and with the constitution, this every body knows, have a nice day

hi Didi,
thanks for the response, i too agree with you and do justice to the chair of the president, but since Indira Gandhi time, the parties are requiring rubber stamps in that supreme post and they keep a puppet,so that what ever they want they can do,if brilliant candidate is there, the party people may have some trouble with that person, that why Mr Seshan (EC) was not accepted by the so called Indira Congress Govt, have a nice day

It is the custom here in India that whoever forms the government wants only a rubber stamp in that highest chair. But I believe Pranab Mukherjee will do justice to the prestigious chair and will never act as a mere rubber stamp of the government.

Mr. Pranab is a well experienced politician, and now he is the President.
In India President has not much power to do...
I hope he will do his duties good, and he won't be a president like P Patel.
And I would have more happy if Abdul Kalam was in this position again.
Happy Mylotting!

Pranab Mukherjee is a man of merits. he has worked very hard. now he has become the first person of our country. but unfortunately he will not having powers to do anything that he feels right but has to be guided by the cabinet.

It is true that he would have to abide by the decisions taken by the cabinet. But being a heavy-weight leader with a vast knowledge of national and international politics, he must have a view of his own which the cabinet must also look into and give due importance.
