at least City add their trophy again..
now they get community shield trophy after beating Chelsea 3-2..the interesting game..
Chelsea actually lead first by Torres goal..but 3 goals from City ended the fighting of chelsea...Tevez, Yaya Toure and samir nasri beat Cech before ryan betrand score the consolation goal for chelsea..
it is the sign that City is ready for this season..
remember that city did not play with some of their best player, no Joe Hart in their squad tonight..

Definitely, it's a good start for them.
The combination between Tevez and Aguero is really awesome.

Ahh... battle of the mega-rich clubs and Man City came out tops. Yes, Chelsea is the biggest spender in the summer transfer window but as it showed, the new players need settling time and getting used to the style of play. As for Man City, it is the same team as last season. They have the understanding of each other and thus looks at the fluidity of their play. Even without new additions, Man City is still the team to beat this season.

But honestly to tell, the winner is not only chosen by strong
only, cooperate, team work, understanding, could be the factor too.

Yes, City started the season on the good note. I think Chelsea will struggle this season, but of course at this moment it is too early in the season. But it was good to see Torres scoring again and there was a bit of confidence which seemed to be back in him. As far as the City goals were concerned they were really good and showed that they are still strong.
Cheers!

Joe Hart is apparently injured and withdrawn from the England squad to face Italy, what are your thoughts on the Ivanovic sending off? I thought it was a reckless challenge that some refs give yellows and some give reds. It was stupid challenge regardless and was the turning point in the game for me. As for Chelsea i thought Torres' goal was a beautiful finish he took it well. As for City's goals they were the same, some beautiful finishes, especially Toure's where he hit it low and hard. Tevez's goal was also a very good finish. I think City are the team to beat this season.

Both of them had Italian coaches, and both them are mega-financially-supported by their owner, coincidence? Or it shows how the face of EPL rulers these days?
Anyway, City is getting stronger. They had recruited Rodwell from Everton too, lately. Hope Man Utd can give a good competition with them. Also with Chelsea and 17 other teams in EPL.

rodwell only waste his time in Manchester city..what a pity..i don`t understand why he takes the surprised decision like that...his career will be stopped in Manchester city..

i think that Man city are ready and still have a fantastic team though this i think that they may find it tough to win the league again because i think that man u with RVP will be strong. Also Chelsea with Hazard will also be looking good to compete so man city will find it tough.
