I don't feel that I have scary addictions like illegal drugs or alcohol but I think I'm addicted to simple carbohydrates.
What are you addicted to?
If you receive a coupon for something you're addicted to...
would you have the self control to tear up the coupon and throw it away?
Sometimes I receive coupons for chocolate chips. I don't think I've ever been disciplined enough to rip it up and forget about it.
I guess the key is to put my "self control" in the drivers seat so I won't buy something I'm addict to just because it's a fair price.
Doe's money play a part in whether or not you buy and consume something?

Honestly I have to say that the price of something DOES heavily influence whether I will buy it or not. That still doesnt' make it a good thing though. I have bought things I should not have and regretted it the moment I got home because I thought that it was a good deal, and I was sooo craving it as well.

Well, sometimes these coupons and discount cards do make us greedy at times. However, sometimes we do exert caution and restraint. We should try to buy things when needed, with occasional spurts here and there.

I do have the self control to throw coupons away because of all of the things I have read and watched on television about sugar. I have really cut down on the sugar and now use Stevia. Research sugar and why it is bad for you online and you will be surprised how bad it really is for your body. There is a good article called "25 reasons why sugar is bad for you". It scared me straight.
My addiction is processed food like frozen taquitos or chicken wings. My self control is not going down that aisle in the grocery store.
There are not many coupons for healthy things though. When have you seen a coupon for fruit or vegetables?
Money absolutely pays a price in what I buy, especially the snacks. But not having snacks in the house helps. I live in a rural area and it is not a "quick trip to the grocery store....so that helps!
